Just...wow... 

Consider my mind blown.

Basicly this book is about twins, they have what seems to be the perfect family. Father a well-known judge and mother running for a place in congress. But what's behind closed doors is darker, both twins are very much alike with the looks but the secrets each one hold can be very destructive. As things seems to get worse someone has to finally take a stand or things will eventually fall apart.

This book was completely a show moving train wreck and I can honestly say that it was hard to read... Like I'm having a hard time writing this review thinking of all that went on. It's actually disturbing and heart breaking, but an overall really good book. When I first started this book I knew it was about twins and not much else didn't care to find out the rest. This isn't the first book that I've read by the author Ellen Hopkins. It was writing in a poetic style that seems to be all over the place that was kinda the appeal of this book that I figure this would be a quick light read and it turned out to be anything but. This isn't for the faint of heart and is definitely a trigger warning with sexual abuse. When it came to that ending I was blown away and hoped for a different ending but I'll take what I can get about it. Just wow, great book.

Review:

This can be a tough subject for you readers just a warning...

Romy was rape and kept what happend silenced. Shes not the type of person who people would believe and is bullied so it wouldn't matter if she told, who would believe her? Especially when it could be the sheriffs son, who is well known and every much liked. When a girl goes missing it seems to be tied with the night Romy was assaulted things start to get a little tricky.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. Getting to know different aspects of how rape victims deal with the aftermath, its always an eye opener to learning more even if this book is fiction. I thought that this book was interesting, and liked how the book ended. This was a fast paced book and there was loads of drama, mystery, and suspense to keep the readers wanting more.I thought that this book was pretty great and enjoyed it.

Review: Inspiring You

Ayden knows it’s time to remember what really happened four years ago, so he can help save his sister. With the help of Lyric, he faces his past head on.

But dealing with the truth is difficult.

My Review:

Ayden with the help of Lyric is going to try out a experimental hypnosis treatment that could really make a difference in his sisters missing case. As pasts are reveals

Just wow, such a great ending. I loved that for a short book it really packs in a lot to keep the readers entertained. I loved watching most of Ayden's fears slowly but surely fade with the help Lyric. That also includes his relationship with Lyric getting past that step to being close to truly be with her. This was a such a great series and trust me when I say that it will have a way with messing with the readers emotions.

This was a great conclusion to this series and now I look forward  to seeing more from other characters that appeared in this book in Forget me Not and Iridescent when they come out.

Review:

So far so good, not as dramatic as Jessica's other stories but great all the same. This book will really appeal to any age group but mostly to those who like YA books.

I really loved that this book branched off from the other book series as the children of previous characters, I already fell in love with Ella and Micha's book as well as Lila and Ethan's story, so when I found out that this series what their kid story, I really was unsure what to think. I've read many books from but I know this author hasn't disappointed me so I was looking forward to checking it out.

I loved the characters. Lyric was such a ball of positive energy working on making Ayden comfortable and to at least crack a smile once in a while. Meanwhile Ayden's past was a bit dark and interesting and I look forward to seeing more about what happened to him. This book was a pretty quick read, it was enjoyable, I thought the story line is interesting. Lucky for you out there there isnt' much of a cliff hanger ending but enough to make you want to check out what is in store for these characters. Overall its a great read and I can't wait to check out the next book.

Review:

If you haven't read the previous book it would probably be wise not to read this book or review first.

In the previous book it was revealed that Adyens brother was dead and his death as well as his killer still remain a mystery. If that wasn't bad enough Adyen and Lyrics friendship / relationship is left on rocky ground after that confusing kiss and they haven't talk to each other in about a month. When Lyric notices that Adyen hasn't been truthful lately as is hiding something she works on finding out what he's hiding. Things start to get complicated when Lyric notices a random stranger has been lurking around and not sure what to do with that bit of info.

I guess thats all I can write about this book and not spoil it for those of you who haven't read this book. Hopefully you have read the previous book so this review won't ruin it for you.

So as the story progresses the readers were able to dive deeper into the life of Adyen and what happened to him in the past that caused him to black out those memories. I thought it was interesting betting more glimpses into what is going on. I guess its that mystery that keeps me holding on this book. Its easy to love these characters and want to know more about them. I also loved reading how Lyrics was gaining the confidence to get past her stage fright. Theres not much to report on this book without ruining it so trust me when I say your going to want to check out this book as well as the previous book.

Review:

Ever since Ayden has been going through therapy he seems to be getting more stressed out dealing with the memories  that are slowly creeping up on him and the knowledge that his sister is still out there since she was kidnapped by the group they were save from. Painful memories coming at different times and his sleep walking is getting worse and he just cant seem to stop showing up were his sister last went missing. The only thing going well so far is that Ayden and Lyric's relationship seems to be going pretty well and they are slowly but surely taking things up a notch.


Again another great piece to Ayden's backstory and mystery of finding his sister. There isn't much to say without ruing the book or repeating what I've already said from the last book. I just loved watching how things progressed and seeing more out of the twos relationship. The mystery about his sister is sure to keep the readers wanting to know more about her. I can't wait to check out the next book.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to love this book as much as I did. This was one of the many treasures among my tbr list. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the attraction between Della and Woods. I loved that he was able to heal her a bit with his presence making things a bit more better for her. I hated his family for obvious reasons. I loved Della best friend who had stuck with her through thick and thin. The steamy scenes were great. This story was well written and I just couldn't put this book down. Overall such a great book that I would recommend you lovely readers to check it out.

There wasn't a romance to this more like lust between the two and Grayson with others. It just seems like all this book is based off of sex without much of a storyline. I didn't really like it.

My Thoughts:

I thought it was going to be a bad idea to read this book after I've read a book with a similar theme but thought I'd go ahead and check out this book anyways. Even if they had that one common thing they were two totally different books. I loved how unique this book book is. I loved that there was enough suspense to have me wondering what was going to happen next. Oh and that ending, wasn't expecting it. I loved the characters.The overall story was great and had me hooked from start to end. Highly Recommend! 4.5 of 5 stars!

My Thoughts:

Everly is struggling make make ends meet but she will do what she has to remain in school and earn enough money to take care of her and her grandpa. Cole is a baseball player who need physical therapy but he has to do it on the down low. If word gets out it he might not be able to play. Cole's brother recommends Everly a physical therapy student and would pay her handsomely for her service and keep quiet. Everly is happy about the arrangement knowing that it'll help her and her grandpa out but things start to get heated and the more they are with each other. Now throw in a money hungry father and exes into the picture and you got this story.

I really enjoyed this book there was never a dull moment. I loved that there was enough drama, mystery and romance to keep me interested. There are many twists and turns that keep the readers guessing. I love the character and that there was more then one point of view which helped me understand and enjoyed the characters more. The overall story was well written and interesting. I really loved this book and highly recommend you readers to check out this book. 5 of 5 stars!

Roxi has been in an abusive relationship with her husband and as a little escape she goes on runs. One day she sees the persistent Luke who runs along with her. The attraction is obvious but she is married and he isnt interested in ruing anything. Luke slowly starts to notices the signs because he had once upon a time seen it before and want to help Roxie in any way that he can.

"People make mistakes, you learn from them, but you should'tn have to apy for then in the horrific ways for the rest of your life."

Wow, such a beautiful and heartbreaking book. At times I had to remind myself that this was just a book and that these were fictional characters, it was so realistic. I loved the characters. I loved the connection between Roxi and Luke. I loved how caring and understanding Luke was. I loved how Roxi eventually gotten the courage and strength and the voice to speak out and reach for help from her friends. I also loved the Roxi didn't jump into things straight after her husband she did want her space. She wanted her independence and to do things on her own before there's anything serious with Luke.  I loved her best friend for being supportive and not letting her go when she really needed her. This book was beautifully written and there was never a dull moment. In fact I couldn't put the book down I sat down and read the whole book in one day.

Overall I absolutely loved this book and it deserved 5 of 5 Stars. Highly Recommend!

My Thoughts:

Elizabeth was running for her life when she was caught in a storm that caused the accident that . When James finds a random passerby on his property he was angry but getting to know this strange women caused him to enjoy her company. They both are stuck in a mystery were they don't know her identity but until the storm stops they will have to carry on. When a friend of his reveals who she is James does what he feels is best and sends her back. James decide was rash and now he's beginning to question if sending her back was really the right choice.

I loved this book more then I thought I would. Once I've started it I couldn't put it down. There was loads of suspense,  twists and turns. Never a dull moment. I loved all the characters but my favorite was Rabbit. It was interested seeing how she developed, I admired the amount of strength she had. I loved this beautiful romance and believe you readers will too!

My Thoughts:

Perfection is really the problem here. Lila has grown up believing that she must strive for perfection but she's cracking under the weight. To keep her appearance of being happy she takes pills to keep her smile on. The only person that really gets her is her friend Ethan who doesnt question what she does because of his own past. When things become a little too much Lila, Ethan comes to help her but realizes that Lila needs help and he might be the only one to take care of her. Because of his past he doesnt want to get into a relationship with Lila but the more they spend time with each other the harder is to back off.

I loved that I got to see another side to the whole Secret Series that branch off of Ella and Micha's story. I liked that even if it did branch it filled in the gaps of what was going on beyond what was going on. At first when I heard that there was a story for Lila I was a bit iffy but of course she had to have her own little dark story that's disguised being her perfect image. I thought Ethan's side of the story was interesting too. Liked watching their relationship develop. I feel like a lot of people can agree with Lila when it comes to striving for perfection but not at the extent that Lila and her mother took it. There is so much pressure for women to become perfect that some just crack under the pressure. I feel like Lila's such a relate able character. Not only that shes trying to find herself, a job and love. I feel like if I talk more I'll ruin the book so I'll stop. So, I really loved this book and think you readers will too!

Tate and Jared were once friends and something happened and it went downhill. For years now shes been bullied by the one person she could turn to. After a year in France the came back home a bit more confident. Now Tate isn't standing for any of Jared or his friends crap and will fight back.

"Acting like you don't care it not letting go. Isn't it about time you fought back?"

With how this book turned out I'm not even sure why I had waited this long to get to reading it. I loved this book. I pretty much devoured this book. I loved Tate's character was strong and at times I felt like she was fearless. Shes a girl not afraid to throw a punch when needed. I just really admired her character. A lot of us can understand what it feels like to be bullied in one form or another and I loved that Tate got over it a learned to get back. I thought it was interesting getting to know more of Jared's secrets of why he turned out. I can't wait to check out the next book to see his side of the story.

My Thoughts:

"The only things I don't know if how many seconds, hours, years, decades, it will take before I can let go of the goddamn self-induced numbness. Until then I'll count, focus on numbers instead of the feeling always floating inside me, the ones linked to image immersed just beneath the surface."

Its Jessica Sorensen so I already known that this book was going to be fantastic, dark, and unfortunately left with a cliffhanger.

Nova was the one to find her boyfriend death body and it broke her. Its been a year or so and shes still going through what looks like post traumatic stress disorder and the only way to keep her calm is to keep counting.

A little reckless act has left Quinton feeling dead inside when he was involved in a car accident that left 2 dead. With all that guilt he has Quinton looses himself in drugs to keep the memories and problem at bay. It's at his room mates house where it meets the lovely Nova. He knows shes too good for him and for this scenes but there she is in the mix.  Quinton against his better judgment should stay away from her but can't seem to do it.

"I think that sometimes things just get confusing and we get lost, and sometimes you can't figure out which path is the right path... which is the right decision."

I absolutely loved reading this book. It was very emotional and intense. It was hard to see Nova go down a dark path (as was repeated in the book many times) she was too good for it. She is a character who many can relate to. Or maybe it's just I can relate to her having panic attacks and trying to find some semblance of normal or comfort enjoyed watching her character slowly get out of that funk and better herself.  I also enjoyed Quinton's character, I felt that at times he was too hard on himself but people deal with death and being the cause of it in different ways. I hated that there was many times he could've help Nova but didn't. There was just way to many things that should've happens and didn't, but then again its a book so I probably shouldn't think too hard. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. I loved that there was so much going on. This book was beautifully written and fast paced.

I'll be sure to pre-order the next book and be sad until I get a hold of it to see what happens. Highly Recommend!

My Thoughts:

Chloe and Drake after so much drama are finally together. When Chloe's mother shows up things start to get a little twisted. Chloe ends up finding out that a loving aunt is on her deathbed and with the harassment of her mother goes to her aunts house. Meanwhile Drake and his band are on tours. Chloe just can't seem to catch a break when things happen she can never seem to get a hold of Drake and she ends up leaning on the shoulder of an old friend that Drake is jealous of.

I just loved that there was much going on that there was never a dull moment. Even if some situations were predictable I loved how the story turned out. I loved that there was so much drama. I hated the way Drake was in this book and I liked that Chloe was strong  enough to call a stop when things were getting to hard. I liked that Chloe stuck to her relationship and what she believes in. Like most of the comments you'll probably come across what was annoying about this book was that a lot of people seemed to like Chloe and it was just hard to believe. This book was well written. I loved the ending turned out, with no loose ties. Highly Recommend!
