My Thoughts:

Normally I'm not interested in crime / mystery types of books. I mean I like my books with a bit of mystery but any ways I still found this book really interesting. I just couldn't put it down. I loved that there was more then one point of view so I got to see what everyone was thinking and what their intents were. I loved Raina's character, she was a strong women getting over her past and many times you seen that past of hers break through with her actions. I loved that rather then becoming a problem herself she chose to better herself and become what she could she couldn't be. It was interesting hearing about her past. I loved that she was sassy, smart and spoke what was on her mind at times. I liked Kas's characters he was caring and did what he had to do to protect the ones he cares for. This book was fast pace and there was never a dull moment. Overall I give this book a 4.5 of 5 stars! Highly Recommend!

Shattered when Raina runs after his marriage proposal, Kas is hell-bent to find her and bring her home, where she belongs. He will bend every law necessary to do so, willing to do anything to protect Raina from her demons and the men who haunt her, going as far as placing his career and life on the line to save hers. Raina will give up everything she has worked so hard to achieve, even flee the country to keep Kas from the wrath and powerful reach of her abusive father.

In the midst of the FBI team closing in on the Ghost, another ghost from Raina's past taunts her, promising that she will be his. Meanwhile, a different trafficking ring is gaining strength in New Jersey. Michael solicits Raina's help, needing her smooth, sultry voice to win the audition for the new singer in the ring leader's swanky night club. Raina knows her life is in jeopardy with the dangers of being undercover, but she is blindsided when she discovers that it's her heart that is threatened with a mortal blow.

Raina tries to heal from the nightmares of her dark past as the grisly bodies of innocent victims surface when the team gets closer to discovering the identity of the man responsible for the infuriatingly clever and powerful slavery ring. When Raina finally comes face to face with the Ghost, he quickly engulfs her in a twisted game of cat and mouse, delivering a veiled threat as he slips through her fingers. As the ghosts of her past and present ensnare her in their deadly web, Raina realizes the danger has just begun.

My Thoughts:

Arg!! That ending! I must make this review quick so I can see what happens next. This review is going to be very similar to the first book. I loved the characters, the story line is great. Never a dull moment, there are so many twists and turns that'll leave your head spinning. I loved that there was more then one point of view and thought it was interesting getting the little tidbits of what was going on with rains ex boyfriend which left me and I'm pretty sure other readers wondering when he would pop up and question what would he do? I loved everything about this book and impatient to read the next book. :-) 5 of 5 stars! Highly Recommend!

Finally able to put her harrowing past to rest, Raina looks forward to her future with Kas, but the Ghost has other plans. As the FBI team gets closer to taking down the largest human trafficking ring in the modern world, the Ghost begins a wicked game, making Raina the pawn and the target. Never before encountering a worthy adversary, he's fascinated by Raina and is enjoying the refreshing challenge of her intellect.

The danger ignites to a blazing new level, and Kas struggles between the need to finally exorcise the Ghost and his need to protect his wife. Tension mounts as an internal battle wages, tormenting Kas as he watches Raina put her all into taking down the man responsible for horrific sex slavery and gruesome deaths. When a new player takes control, Jefferson orders the end of the Ghost's game with Raina, which results in one final, devastating act, leaving Kas desperate and willing to do whatever it takes to save her...by whatever means necessary.

My Thoughts:

This trilogy was fantastic and I loved the end. Perfect ending for a perfect trilogy. If you are looking for book that'll keep you on your toes wondering whats going to happen next this trilogy is for you. I seem to be repeating myself for this trilogy. Just know that these books will keep you hooked till the very end. If you get one book you must get all three because the cliffhangers are going to want to know whats going to happen straight away.

These are a must reads be sure to get these books and put them on top of tbr lists! 5 of 5 stars!

A women from Max's past is suing Max for sexual harassment in the work place. For a while things were kept hidden until Jenna stumbled across two people talking about him. Makes her wonder what else he is keeping from her.

"You can't allow his past to get in the way of the future. Sometimes falling in love means letting go to the past. His past is the past."

Meanwhile Jenna's best friend Becky is having some feelings for Max's brother Matthew. Both are attracted but Mathew will keep his distance from Becky because she already has a boyfriend...Or does she? If they should have something between each other it could ruin what Max and Jenna has or at least make things awkward. Will they take the risk?

"They say time heals all wounds, but I say time just makes it bearable."

Wow, this book was fantastic. I loved that not only did I get the perspective of both Jenna and Max, there was Mathew and Becky's too. I loved the overall story, the characters were interesting. I just loved Mathew and Becky's characters. They were really interesting, I almost thought that thier paths had someone collided in the pasts when I was hearing about what happend to both thier pasts. I was either wrong or maybe I'll be said in the third book. I loved everything about this book. I Highly Recommend this book! (But be sure to read the previous book Something Great first) 5 of 5 stars!

My Thoughts:

After her last boyfriend broke her heart she now plays is safe when it comes to guys. So for now shes dating boring ol' Luke, the spark isnt there. She (According to her friends) needs a man that'll make her scream hallelujah. In comes Max she that attraction between the two are undeniable. 

This book was great. I really enjoyed this book, it was fast paced never a dull moment. I loved watching the romance and attraction between each other. As much as I liked Max I was more interested in seeing more of Matthew. The steamy scene were great. I loved Jenna's best friends they were fun and funny at times. I loved how caring and loyal they can be. Overall I really enjoyed this book. 4 of 5 stars!

My Thoughts:

"There's one thing I now recognize, if you don't have trust, you really don't have anything."

Tally loved ballet, ballet is her life. It was the one constant thing in her life. After the death of her sister things started to go down hill but ballet remained the same or her. As she rises to fame the reader will see what she had to deal with and what she gave up to get where she is at. 

Linc met Tally at a part and the attraction between the two was instant. Little did he know what little relationship they were developing was based on lies that can ruin his career of being a pro baseball player. Before he starts professionally he was requested to break it off with Tally because she was a distraction and can be an issue with her age. No matter how things go one thing remained the same his love for Tally. 

"We both know that life has a way of changing things on us before we can figure it out, and you can't predict what's going to happen in the next."

I've had this book for sometime now as an arc from netgalley and for some reason kept putting it off till now. Not sure why, this book was just fantastic.

There is just so much to love about this book. With just the first chapter I knew I was going to be hooked. Thank goodness I had a snow day so there was no breaks with me and this book I read it straight through. Once you get your hands on this book you'll understand why. The main theme to this book was lies, just lies upon more lies make up this book. I loved that this book had two point of views of Linc and Tally so I can connect and enjoy the characters more. Its like when this start to get good the author is like nope gotta take it down a notch and something happens. Jeez Tally just couldn't catch a break. When it came to 92% of the book I just couldn't help but think that was way too convenient, I was expecting a little more drama with that but then again Tally had too much drama to deal with.  This book was heartbreaking and hopeful and be prepares to have your emotions ripped apart. This book is an emotional roller coaster. (Don't say I didn't warn you!) 

5 of 5 stars! Highly Recommend!

My Thoughts:

"You can only be betrayed by someone you truly trust."

I enjoyed this book. The characters and the story line was interesting. My only problem is that at some points it felt like it dragged but that was it. I loved that there was more then one point of view which made me understand and enjoy the character more. There was so much going on in this book that'll keep the readers hooked. When it came to Denver you can't help but feel bad for the girl not only does she got mommy issues but she comes to find those she loves and trust betray her. Even with all that shes still a strong character. I had a hard time getting into Greer and Ransom, there was just so much going on with both to make me love and hate them. I really enjoyed this book and think you readers will too. 4 of 5 stars!

Shut Up, and Kiss Me

After a few minutes, Greer stretches out beside me and searches for my hand. Only his hand touches mine, but my whole being tingles. He threads his fingers through mine and runs his thumb over my palm. Something in me twists and splinters, shooting chills all through my body. My breath hitches in my throat because I can’t breathe around the knot that has formed there.

“You feel it too,” he says simply.

I close my eyes tighter, suddenly embarrassed by the fact that I’m not slick. “Yes,” I admit in a whisper.

“Look at me, Denver.”

Turning my head to the side, I open my eyes to find his blue-eyed gaze roaming over me. His eyes find mine, and we just take each other in. I want to say something, but I can’t think of one darn thing that sounds intelligent or even … sexy. Do I even want to be sexy for him? Yes. Yes, I do. I see stupid girls flirt with him all the time. I don’t want to be that girl, but I do want him to see me as a girl and not just his friend. Ironic, since I’ve spent my whole life telling him not to treat me like a girl.

“I want to kiss you so bad … but if I kiss you, it will change everything,” he says in that gravelly voice.

“Change is good,” I whisper.

Rolling to his side, his mouth is centimeters from mine. I can’t make myself move although I’m aching with want. But I haven’t been kissed—ever. And I haven’t kissed anyone since that time on the monkey bars in seventh grade when I stuck my tongue in Brian Thomas’s mouth on a bet. I shocked the shit out of him, and he didn’t even kiss me back. When the bell rang, he jerked back and hit his head hard, sending him to the nurse for the rest of the afternoon. Not my finest moment.

“I don’t want to lose my best friend,” he tells me.

I bring up my other hand and run it over his jaw. “You’re not going to lose me. No matter what. We’ll still be friends.”

“Relationships ruin friendships. We’ve seen enough of that.”

I shiver with that truth. “True. But we’re different. We’ve been together since before we were born. I can’t live without you, so I won’t hurt our friendship.”

Bringing our entwined hands up, he kisses my knuckles. “Me either. We’ll take it slow, all right?”

“All right, my golden boy,” I whisper.

The effect of my words is instantaneous; the blue in his eyes intensifies to boiling. He leans in, his lips brushing mine softly. “Denver,” he whispers against me. “I’ve always wanted to make you mine. Ever since I understood what that meant. I’ve never seen anyone but you.” And even though his eyes burn with passion, I hear a little tremor in his voice. Now, him always putting off those girls makes a whole lot more sense.

“I thought we were taking it slow,” I chastise, but I delight in knowing that he feels something more for me.

“I just want you to know that I don’t take this lightly. You’re the most important person in my universe. And I’ll do anything to protect us.”
