This book has been on my TBR list for a while now and I'm finally getting a chance to read it. This is actually the perfect time to read it it goes through the holidays things starting with Thanksgiving so if your a seasonal type of reader this is a good time to start it.

Anyways this is was a slow but good read for me. This at the heart of it was all about family.

Genevieve is a widow who put everything aside to give her children the best life she could and now as adults she just wants them to get along. Admittedly she may have held onto the family tighter using the holidays to spend more time with them since her husband passed but now she just needs to step back and do for herself. That's where dropping everything to live with her sister renovating a house and self care comes into place and I absolutely love that for her. You can kind of see the bits and pieces where she has conflict wanting to help her children and seeing the hatred that seems to be going around and she's had enough and I love that she's took that step away to do more for herself because she's more than just their mother she is a woman who has her own needs.

Jake is the oldest son who pretty much tried to take over what his dad roll was. At the adult now he is stressed over work and with the holiday season and the family feuds he's had enough and dropped everything to visit his mother and now he's got a lot to think about. He even has the possibility of finding love and trying to figure out what to do with himself now that he's stepped away from all the roles with he was playings and to figure out who he is.

This was a heartwarming book and I enjoyed getting to know each and every character. I will say having the mother's point of views was kind of confusing at first but I got used to it. Getting to know tough and Jake you just can't help but look for the two. Tess is looking for family after what she dealt with her history and Jake is just looking for freedom so it's interesting how these two figure out a way to make it work. Then there's a family feuding going on and seeing what it took to try to make things workings to stop fighting.  Overall I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend you readers to check it out.

So here's the thing, as much as I liked this book I wish it was shorter. I would've much preferred this book be split into two where each of the sisters get their own focused story rather then the back and fourth between four characters. I have a hard time focusing on books with more then 2 characters and it took me a bit of time to get used to the characters, who was with who, and separating the stories at times. Eventually I did get used to it but I think I would've appreciated both stories a bit better if there wasn't that confusion going on for myself. Looking past that I did like the stories there was times it dragged and some parts felt like the story could've dont without but it was still an enjoyable read. I enjoyed seeing the characters and learning about them. Learning about the backstories and different point of views so see what was really going on in the mind of the characters to make some interesting decisions. Overall this book was pretty good, too long for my tastes but still an enjoyable one.

I've been stalling big time when it came to the review because honestly I didn't like this book much. I don't like writing reviews on books that I don't really like at all. All I can really thing is that this book was just okay. Not really something I'd recommend but do check it out and form your own opinion. What I might not like might be your favorite book so don't let my opinion stop you from picking up this book. The characters where good, I really loved how Reggie's character was quiet blunt, not the type of person who won't say what she really thinks. The one thing I do appreciate and thought was interesting was how depression was shown in the book, it really was realistic. I mean I read other books about characters that mention tid bits / stereotypes that the character with depression has and it doesn't really show. This book it was clear that they had their set of issues and it was interesting seeing how everything did eventually turn out. Overall this book was okay but just not something that I was really into.

I enjoyed reading this, when I tried watching the movie after just couldn't. I had watched the movie before not knowing about the books existence. I enjoyed the movie before reading. But after... can't say the same, kept cringing at the differences and would'nt continue watching the movie. I did like the book it was enjoyable and I liked getting to know in depth of what was going on with him and what was going on in his minds through the downfall and through its days where things were going good.

I was originally reading this book for the #booktubeathon read & watch a book to movie and I chose Pride & Prejudice as my choice. After so long of not reading it this challenge gave me that push I needed. I loved that book and I loved this book but I did not enjoy that movie. I'll end up watching Pride and Prejudice as my read & watch the book movie challenge.

Review:

Quinn lives for her fathers auto body shop. After the death of her mother her father couldn't deal and turned into a alcoholic leaving Quinn to pick up the slack. Then in come the famous custom car builder Tazen taking up the chance to purchase the autobody Quinn has practically grew up in. But shes not about to give up the fight in making his life difficult with her fiery personality.

I loved Quinn's character, shes loyal to her family, friends and coworkers. She done all she could until Tazen came around and made things difficult. I loved her fiery personality and rarely let things get her down or in her way. She wasn't one to back off a situation if she didn't like someone she was gonna make sure someone knew about it. I liked that Quinn did let her new coworkers beat her down instead she got even. She was just a fantastic and fun character to read. Then there was tazen I'm not really sure how I feel about his character I mean I did like him. I loved the story it was fun to read there was plenty going on with the drama, steamy scene and tension between the two characters. Well written and overall very enjoyable. I would recommend you lovely readers +18 to check it out!

Grace is a female bounty hunter looking to be seen seriously in a male dominated field. When she finally gets a chance to bring in a high paying case she jumped right into it. After meeting the fugitive she realizes she in over her head and ends up falling for him. Rather then taking him in for killing she now wants to take him in to save him from himself knowing he'll eventually land himself in jail for good.

I really loved this book I would definitely rate it a 4.5 Star. It was entertaining,funny, plenty of drama, sass with a bit of steam. I loved Graces character, she was pretty bad ass being able to take care of herself with any challenge that came her way, whether someone is trying to rob her, family members throwing verbal jabs, or taking in bad guys. I loved that she fought for what she thought was right. Overall I great story, never a dull moment.

Review:

So far so good, not as dramatic as Jessica's other stories but great all the same. This book will really appeal to any age group but mostly to those who like YA books.

I really loved that this book branched off from the other book series as the children of previous characters, I already fell in love with Ella and Micha's book as well as Lila and Ethan's story, so when I found out that this series what their kid story, I really was unsure what to think. I've read many books from but I know this author hasn't disappointed me so I was looking forward to checking it out.

I loved the characters. Lyric was such a ball of positive energy working on making Ayden comfortable and to at least crack a smile once in a while. Meanwhile Ayden's past was a bit dark and interesting and I look forward to seeing more about what happened to him. This book was a pretty quick read, it was enjoyable, I thought the story line is interesting. Lucky for you out there there isnt' much of a cliff hanger ending but enough to make you want to check out what is in store for these characters. Overall its a great read and I can't wait to check out the next book.

If you haven't read the previous book it would probably be wise not to read this book or review first.

In the previous book it was revealed that Adyens brother was dead and his death as well as his killer still remain a mystery. If that wasn't bad enough Adyen and Lyrics friendship / relationship is left on rocky ground after that confusing kiss and they haven't talk to each other in about a month. When Lyric notices that Adyen hasn't been truthful lately as is hiding something she works on finding out what he's hiding. Things start to get complicated when Lyric notices a random stranger has been lurking around and not sure what to do with that bit of info.

I guess thats all I can write about this book and not spoil it for those of you who haven't read this book. Hopefully you have read the previous book so this review won't ruin it for you.

So as the story progresses the readers were able to dive deeper into the life of Adyen and what happened to him in the past that caused him to black out those memories. I thought it was interesting betting more glimpses into what is going on. I guess its that mystery that keeps me holding on this book. Its easy to love these characters and want to know more about them. I also loved reading how Lyrics was gaining the confidence to get past her stage fright. Theres not much to report on this book without ruining it so trust me when I say your going to want to check out this book as well as the previous book.

Review:

Ever since Ayden has been going through therapy he seems to be getting more stressed out dealing with the memories  that are slowly creeping up on him and the knowledge that his sister is still out there since she was kidnapped by the group they were save from. Painful memories coming at different times and his sleep walking is getting worse and he just cant seem to stop showing up were his sister last went missing. The only thing going well so far is that Ayden and Lyric's relationship seems to be going pretty well and they are slowly but surely taking things up a notch.


Again another great piece to Ayden's backstory and mystery of finding his sister. There isn't much to say without ruing the book or repeating what I've already said from the last book. I just loved watching how things progressed and seeing more out of the twos relationship. The mystery about his sister is sure to keep the readers wanting to know more about her. I can't wait to check out the next book.

My Review:

After reading this book I'm not sure how I feel about it. I liked the character but I feel like there was not much of a story. The steamy scene were pretty good but not much else. The characters were likable. For some reason I just couldn't get into the book. There wasn't much drama or anything to keep me interesting. I kept waiting for some conflict or something to happen but nada. I guess I've been reading too much books with loads of drama meanwhile this book was pretty chill making this book more dull. I did like it but I'm rating its a three star out of five. 

I dropped to my hands and knees, following the noise. “Got it!” I shouted, stretching my arm under the bed and barely catching the alarm clock with the tips of my fingers.

I quickly turned it off, and he had apparently found the second alarm, because the room fell blessedly silent. Well, that was until I heard Flint breathe, “Fuck,” from behind me.

It was then that I remembered I was naked and kneeling with my chest to the carpeted floor and my ass sticking straight up in the air. I glanced over my shoulder to find him standing, staring down at me, his already large cock thickening between his legs—a sight that had me returning his curse.

“Don’t move,” he commanded when I started to sit up.

As Flint’s heated eyes leveled me, there was a part of me that felt as though I should have covered up. But I didn’t feel insecure at all. Under his gaze, I felt more secure and wanted than I had in my entire life, and for that alone, I pressed my ass even higher into the air.

“I lied. Get on the bed, but right back in that position.”

First, I had other plans. I sat up but didn’t push to my feet. Instead, I spun on my knees and slowly crawled over to him.

“Don’t do that,” he warned, but his eyes said otherwise.

“I have a few apologies to make.” I licked my lips.

“On the bed, Ash.”

“No,” I responded.

He arched an admonishing eyebrow, which I ignored.

“You did a lot of things to me last night—things I loved. But there was something I wanted to do.” I wrapped my hand around his hard-on, steadily gliding to the tip and back again. “I’m going to suggest you sit down.”

And for once, Flint didn’t have a retort. He backed up to the edge of the bed and dropped his crutches to the floor. I smiled in victory as I followed him forward, running my hands up his thighs until I reached the base of his cock. Then I lowered my head to kiss the tip.

“Wait,” he urged.

But I was done taking his orders. I slid his length as deep as possible into my mouth. “Fuck,” he hissed.

“Wait,” he repeated as I glided back up his shaft. He pulled me upright before bending forward to kiss my shoulder. Using my chin to tip my head, he forced my eyes to his. “I said wait.” He chastely kissed my mouth and teased his hands down my sides to rest on my hips.

Then the ground below my knees disappeared and the entire world turned upside down.

Literally.

A loud laugh escaped my throat as Flint flipped me onto the bed to join him. He juggled me like a rag doll until he until he found a position that suited him—kneeling over his face.

I stopped laughing immediately when his mouth sealed over my clit.

Then I cried out as his long finger found my opening. His other hand darted between us and lifted his cock toward my mouth.

With a swirl of his tongue, he dropped his head to the bed long enough to say, “Now, apologize all you like while I have breakfast.”

I gasped as his fingers began a rhythm inside me that left me unable to focus on anything else.

“Are you sore?”

“A little.” I managed to pull myself together long enough to find his cock again. But I instantly regretted my answer when he removed his finger.

 Wow, this was a fantastic book. There was enough drama, mystery and steam to keep to keep the readers wanting more. Then there was the twist and turns to keep the readers on the edge of their seats at other points. I loved this book. The characters were interesting, there was the dual point of view and a back stories on characters to make the readers love them even more. I loved watching the attraction between Dare and Teal. As the story unraveled I loved that it wasn't so easy to guess and just when you think you know whats going to happen something else throws you to a different assumption. 

Overall I found this book interesting, with a unique story line and vivid description of things that were occurring throughout the book. I loved this and would recommend you lovely readers to check out this book.

Wow, I wasn't expecting to love this book as much as I did. This was one of the many treasures among my tbr list. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the attraction between Della and Woods. I loved that he was able to heal her a bit with his presence making things a bit more better for her. I hated his family for obvious reasons. I loved Della best friend who had stuck with her through thick and thin. The steamy scenes were great. This story was well written and I just couldn't put this book down. Overall such a great book that I would recommend you lovely readers to check it out.

My Thoughts:

This book was just fantastic. This book was amazingly written and with the authors words it was easy to just get sucked into the book. Once you start this book that's its for you, you'll be stuck to your seat till its over. I loved the connection and relationship between Ember and Josh. I enjoyed knowing bits about her family and seeing how each character reactive to their grief. There was just enough drama to keep the readers interested but not over the top. Because of the description of the book I knew that Josh was hiding something so while I was reading. I kept wondering about what Josh was hiding and that was not at all what I expected. I liked that this book wasn't predictable and was very unique in its own way. I highly recommend you lovely readers check out this book, maybe even bump it up to the top of your tbr list. 5 of 5 stars!

My Thoughts:

Delaney is too nice, she allows her mother to push her away but still goes to her. Then there's a an accident that her father caused and she goes out to apologize for the heart ache her father caused. Little did she know was that she would fall for Adrian. Meanwhile Adrian is in a mess of his own and is trying to deal with it. Its until he meets Delaney that his old habits of forgetting aren't working any more. Now his fix is Delany she girls with the ghosts in her eyes.

This book was very predictable and yet I still really enjoyed the characters. What I liked about Delany was that I can see myself in her and it made me enjoy her even more. I liked that even if it was predictable there was a couple surprises thrown in. This book was fast paced, never a dull moment. I enjoyed the characters and overall story. I recommend you lovely readers to check out this book! 4 of 5 stars!
