Sawyer Greene knows romance. She’s a bestselling author of the genre—or she was, until her college girlfriend left her with nothing but writer’s block and bitterness. So when Sawyer gets stuck in an elevator with a handsome stranger, she sees it for what it is: not a meet-cute but a chance encounter with a charming man whom she will sleep with exactly once and go on her way. Easy enough...until she runs into him again at a Christmas market straight out of a Hallmark holiday movie.

Sawyer is a romance writer going through a bit of a writer's block. Once she manages a meet cute encounter with a guy stuck on an elevator they strike up a deal this winter season to help her out.

So I should have known when I picked up this book it would be based off of the winter time but I didn't realize that until later on and now I am weirdly Christmas spirit in the middle of summer the positive note I can do a Christmas in July if I wanted to now that I'm in that seasonal mood. I did enjoy this book I liked the whole friends to lover Trope if you're into fake dating kind of situation you might like this book. I enjoyed getting to see both of their point of views. These two had great chemistry and there was a few steamy scenes. I thought it was interesting their thought processes when it came to helping her with her writer's block. Overall this was a pretty good book it was fun and charming and if you are looking to put something on your future Christmas time tbr list or your Christmas in July list maybe this will be it.

A little domestic bliss never hurt anyone…right?

Charlie Dee is headed for burnout. They’ve been burned before, both by their bio family and the now-defunct queer collective they once called home. So when they’re asked to take a work trip outside the city, they jump at the chance. Sure, it’s additional work with no additional pay, but it’s also an excuse to get out of town—and out of their own head.

That dream is shattered when Charlie opens the door to their supposedly private rental. There’s a bird on the loose, circling the living room as it’s chased by a cat, who is chased by a small child. The girl’s parents, Hayden and Buffy, only manage to add to the chaos. They promise to leave first thing in the morning, but when a massive snowstorm rolls in, this overnight trip becomes a weeklong affair.

Reluctantly charmed by this unfiltered—if forced—look at a loving, healthy family, Charlie begins to develop feelings for both Hayden and Buffy. And they both seem to be flirting back. But when a potential promotion lures Charlie back to the city, all three will have to decide where they go from here—and what it means to truly feel at home.

Read this book recently and I really enjoyed it. This is the first time I'm coming across a book with a non-binary character in a healthy polyamorous relationship. I liked getting to know how unique each character was and seeing their relationship was forming with each role that played out. You can just see the care and love forming with this unique family dynamic also just want to point out Rainbow is a trip. I look forward to seeking out more books like this with poly relationships and non binary characters, I really want to be able to check out different people and relationships. Overall I enjoyed this book takes place in wintertime so would be nice to put on your winter tbr list. Even great now as an escape from this heat.

This is a pretty good book I pretty much devoured it in one day. I just really enjoyed the book and following along as things played out when it came to being stalked and getting closer to figuring out who might be behind this. and it was a pretty good mystery suspense novel I really enjoyed it. I'm also just finding out that this is a part of the series so I'm going to have to look for the previous books because I really enjoyed this one and have high hopes for the previous ones as well as any future books that come up I'll have to keep an eye out.

On the run with no memory,

he’ll have to trust a woman from his past to save his future.

On the shores of her lighthouse on a stormy night, the last thing Ava Donovan expected to see was her old flame Liam Brody. While investigating a nearby shipwreck, Liam’s business partner was murdered at sea. With no memory of the incident, no alibi and in need of refuge, Liam finds safe haven with Ava, her lighthouse providing a perfect hideout from those trying to catch him. Finally reunited, Ava will stop at nothing to help Liam restore his memory and, with it, the truth behind the brutal murder. But will love be enough to recover what was lost…before time runs out?
Ava is working on renovating a lighthouse when a guy from her path Liam shows up as a fugitive with no memory of a crime that was committed. She's already weary of the police and Liam is just trying to figure out what really happened and now Ava is in a position to maybe help him look into the crime to prove his innocence.

I really enjoyed reading this mystery suspense novel. I enjoyed watching as they work together to figure out what really happened, Ava is a amateur sleuth and in her own way trying to find connection together in question those in suspicion. This had a small town with everyone being loose-lipped and closely know each other so in a way they're tight-lipped and protecting those they care about. But it was interesting seeing how they work together to piece things to redeem Liam from being considered a murderer, there was a small romance going on between the two which didn't it really distract from what was going on. Overall this was a pretty good book if you like mystery suspense novels you might like this.

More than friends?

Maybe by Valentine's Day!

Shy Kitty Crawley never got over her crush on former bronc champ Tyson Ellis. She’s always been his pal and “my buddy’s shy little sis” and that’s just dandy. Mostly. But now that Tyson’s temporarily the guardian of two little girls—and in way over his cowboy hat—they’re finding more ways to bond. Suddenly Kitty’s cowboy crush is in danger of growing into something else. And with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, there’s no escaping Cupid…or the bronc rider she’s falling for.
Such a cute book it was heartwarming and sweet. I loved the romance that was happening. I loved the sense of community with others always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Tyson is watching his nieces for a short while and was doing everything he can to make their stay comfortable. Kitty used to have a thing for Tyson in the past and it looks like those feeling didnt leave but its looking like someone is out to pursue her and she's not sure how she feels about this guy so it was interesting seeing how that played out. Overall theres plenty of sweet heartwarming moments and I really enjoyed out.

It appears the person after the child is becoming more desperate to get the child and there are some similarities to people popping up that could be connected to Grahams case making things possibly all the more dangerous.

I was looking for good mystery suspense thriller type of book and I got it. I loved following along as the two worked together to help keep this boy safe. Plus there was the added tension of them being a thing in the past. Overall it as a pretty good book I had a hard time putting it down with so much going on I didn't want to miss a thing.

This Christmas, could the cowboy from her past unlock the key to her future?

When Landry King shows up at Four Corners Ranch with Lila, the teenage daughter no one ever knew he had, it sets the gossip mill churning. Landry's daughter has lost her adoptive parents and is in desperate need of a new family. So this Christmas, the untamed cowboy is finally getting the chance to become the father he could never have been when Lila was born. Even if it means dealing with his other biggest regret…

Fia Sullivan hates Landry King. That's how it's always been. At least, that's how it's been since their dramatic teenage love affair ended in a way that shattered their hearts and left them with wounds that never healed. When Landry dredges up her most agonizing secret, Fia's devastated…and also overjoyed at the possibility of the new life they could have. But there's only so long she can be near Landry before their simmering desire reignites. Can they finally overcome their past pain to find new love—and new family—this Christmas?

Landry and Lila had a child when they were young that was given up for adoption. When Landry is contacted by the adoption agency because the daughter recently lost her parents and he wants to do everything he can to have her back. Lila never expected her child to have ended up in the system, she was hoping for the best when she gave her child up and now that she is back in the picture she and Landry left to learn how to become a family.

I really enjoyed this book there was so much going on. Landry and Lila had a thing in the past and clearly those sparks never went out. But now that they are older they have to learn how to be in a relationship in a new way as parents to a teenage daughter and it was interesting in seeing how they work together to do that. I enjoyed getting to learn about them and seeing why the child was let go in the first place. And it was interesting seeing how they got through the holiday season as a newly formed family. Overall pretty good book I really enjoyed it.

The magic of Christmas—and a second shot at romance—is in the air in Shelter Springs this holiday season…

Amanda Taylor isn’t a fan of Christmas, but as the owner of a local soap shop, ignoring the holiday season isn’t an option. To forget the pain of Christmases past, Amanda focuses on making the season bright for her customers at the Shelter Springs Holiday Giving Market. But when her beloved grandmother, Birdie, starts dating the dashing new resident of the Shelter Inn retirement community, Amanda smells trouble. Fortunately, Rafe Arredondo, the grandson of Birdie’s charming suitor, is equally dubious of the match. Unfortunately, he's just as fiery as his grandfather—and Amanda has zero interest in getting burned.

As a single father, paramedic and assistant fire chief, Rafe has more than enough on his plate. Sure, he and Amanda share a common goal in keeping their grandparents apart. Still, that doesn’t mean he should allow himself to feel as drawn to her as he does. Even if she is great with his young son. Even if she does help the burden of his own painful past feel a little lighter… But when their paths keep crossing at the holiday market, it starts to feel like fate, prompting them both to wonder if taking a chance on love might gift them everything they’ve been wishing for.

This was such a sweet and adorable perfect for now since it's the Christmas time. Also do you see that cover isn't it lovely? So there is Amanda and Rafe Amanda is a local shop owner who is running a Christmas Market and race is a single dad local fireman who was injured while helping out and now looking for something to do. It was just so sweet watching the romance between the two but it seems like it's not the only romance going on when Amanda realizes her grandmother birdie maybe with someone causing her some concern. I really enjoyed this book would definitely recommend especially if you like Hallmark movies.

She's wholesome as apple pie… Or is she?

Bakery owner Ava Katz adores everything about her adopted hometown of Ambrosia Falls—especially her best friend, mystery writer Zach Harrison. But the bucolic setting is hiding something—or someone—more sinister. The Apple Cider Festival is threatened by a series of mishaps, and Zach’s young daughter goes missing—just as the spark between Ava and her neighbor begins to explode into flames. Has Ava's mysterious past plunged them into danger? Can Zach solve the tangled mystery of just who his best friend really is—and will Ava find his child before it's too late for them all?

From Harlequin Romantic Danger. Passion. Drama.

Ava is a bakery owners whose past is coming to get her in a big way disrupting her quiet life in this town with her friend Zach and daughter being cause in the cross fires. When a few incidents happen at the local Apple Cider Festival its seems to suspicious and close to be just mere incidents. Now Ava wants to run to keep those close to her safe but knows what she must do when Zach daughter gets kidnapped.

I really enjoyed this book. The story is fast-paced and kept me engaged from beginning to end. I especially liked watching Zach slowly discover that Ava is not who he thought she was. While Zach is a concerned dad who would do anything for his child, Ava is the professional who knows how to get close to the kidnapper. It was refreshing to see Zach take a back seat and let Ava handle things. Overall, this was a great book and I would definitely recommend it.

Hiding in the Texas desert…with a vengeful cartel in pursuit.

Cameron Wolfe, a man in hiding and with a bounty on his head, offers Bree shelter…only for Cameron’s secrets and Bree’s attackers to catch up with them both. On the run in the Texas desert, danger stalks them at every turn. Can they outwit their relentless enemies before they both lose their lives?

Cameron was only looking for a bit of peace after all that he's been through and some how lands himself into Texas Ranger Brianna case dealing with the cartel. Now they both are working together to take them down before they try to take them out.

Such a fast paced read that every moment was an adventure or at least a close call when it comes to the characters. If you are looking for somewhere to escape to this book just might be it with loads going on to keep the readers on their toes. I loves following along as they together pieced what they needed to to get the cartel members before they get them. I loved getting to know alot more about them as well because in between the moments of rest the readers were really able to get to know them making you feel more connected to the characters. Overall great book I really enjoyed it.

She’s written off more than she can chew…

Romance author Sophie Lyon’s ironic secret just went viral: she’s never been in love—and it’s ruining her reputation. With a manuscript deadline looming, Sophie makes an ambitious plan to overcome her writer’s block: reunite with her exes (including her last girlfriend Carla, the one person she could have loved) to learn why she’s never fallen in love, and document it all for her millions of new online followers.

Luckily, Sophie’s reclusive landlord, Dash Montrose—a former teen heartthrob—has social media all figured out and is willing to help. What he doesn’t mention is that he’s an anonymous online crafter, a hobby that helps him maintain his sobriety. No one knows about his complicated relationship with alcohol, and with a family that’s Hollywood royalty, Dash has to steer clear of scandal.

As Sophie and Dash grow closer, they discover a heat between them that rivals Dash’s pottery kiln. But Sophie needs to figure out who she is outside her relationships, and Dash isn’t sure he’s stable enough for the commitment she deserves. So Sophie suggests what any good romance author would: a friends-with-benefits arrangement. Surely a strictly casual relationship won’t cause any trouble…

Sophie is a romance writer dealing with writers block then her secret is out: she's never been in love. Now she's looking back at those she's dated to see if she can find a second chance at romance in the hopes it gives her some inspiration for her book. Dash is her best friends brother who is dealing with a stalker and sobriety and looking towards a new career. As they confide in eachother their feeling start to border in friends with benefits but hopeful towards something more.

This was such a fun read. I loved the two main characters and getting to know them. Dash was dealing a lot of pressure when it came to his family and it's sobriety and Sophie on the other hand was dealing with so much stress when it came to her writing job and with the deadline looming over. I loved the way the two interacted with each other and seeing that chemistry between the two where you can't help but root for them. Overall this was a really good book I really enjoyed it.

Falling in love is easy. Finding the right guy to spend happily ever after with... that's the hard part.

But I have a foolproof plan. I'm taking the tropes that work in romance books and applying them to my love life.

Only one bed? Never fails.

Caring for someone when they're sick? A classic.

"Who did this to you?" Seals the deal every single time.

So long, loneliness. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

But the more I try to force romance, the more feelings naturally progress with the one man who's off limits: Walker Collins, the guy I've had a secret crush on since 7th grade, not to mention my best friend's older brother.

Dating Walker crosses BFF lines I swore I'd never cross. Plus, he hates Sunset Harbor, and his pro golf career will take him off the island as fast as he came, sending me back to the land of singlehood, loneliness, and broken hearts.

At the end of the day, I don't want to be the fool in my foolproof plan

Jenny's finally ready to settle down and made it her mission to use this summer to find a man using romance book tropes. Walker is her best friend's brother who's in town after an injury and slight issue with his girlfriend to recuperate. Since it's not planning to stay and he's her best friend's brother he's not on the list. But he sure seems to keep running into her while she's on her way to finding love.

There was book tropes all around and it was such a fun read seeing how it all played out. Even the whole off limits bff brother trope was a main one. I loved watching as we came across every dating antic she was trying to pull off miserably and finding themselves in trouble a few occasions and even if this book was easy to predict this book was plenty entertaining to read anyways. Now I wanna get ahold of the next books.

Also I want to point out that I did get a hold of the audiobook and it really made the experience of reading this all the more better. The pacing was fine the actors were good and overall when it came to the audiobook portion it really enhanced my reading experience.

Kidnappers out for vengeance…

Can a K-9 team stop them?

Following the death of a crime boss he put behind bars, Ian Carpenter leaves witness protection—and runs right into an ambush. To escape assailants bent on revenge, he turns to his former handler, US marshal Meadow Ames, and her K-9 partner. But the stakes grow higher when Ian’s cousin is abducted. With threats closing in, can they rescue a kidnapped teen…and stop the criminals for good?

Ian was in witness protection when he gets ambushed by people looking for revenge. US Marshall Meadow was his handler when he reaches out for help once again. This time his cousins been kidnapped and they do everything they can to get her back but also remain safe.

This was a pretty good book. There was so much going on getting to know a bit about the two and why Ian was in witness protection. Meadow has his handler and helping him keep safe but now it's a entirely new and old situation with his cousin going missing a dog being pregnant leaving them with higher stakes and where the connection was to the past. I loved following along as they worked together to find them and I liked the bit of romance that was thrown in. Overall pretty good time now book I really enjoyed it.
