Bernadette Fox is notorious. To her Microsoft-guru husband, she's a fearlessly opinionated partner; to fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace; to design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to 15-year-old Bee, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom.

Then Bernadette disappears. It began when Bee aced her report card and claimed her promised reward: a family trip to Antarctica. But Bernadette's intensifying allergy to Seattle—and people in general—has made her so agoraphobic that a virtual assistant in India now runs her most basic errands. A trip to the end of the earth is problematic.

To find her mother, Bee compiles email messages, official documents, secret correspondence—creating a compulsively readable and touching novel about misplaced genius and a mother and daughter's role in an absurd world.

This book is set in a series of letters and emails and I wasn't sure how to take this book. For a good chunk of the book I was confused on who was who and how things were playing out. But soon as I got used to the writing style - and got myself a audiobook - things started to turn around. I really have to say that I loved how the reader was playing everything out. Loved how distinct Bee and Bernadettes voice/accent was I found it entertaining. I really didn't like her husband and how everything played out with him, it was one of my least favorite characters. When I first came across this book I thought that things were really chaotic and wasn't well done but once you understand how everything is put together the pieces start to make sense and trust me when I say to trudge through that bump because this book is a pretty good book.

Reviews:

Sebastian is tired of being apart of his family's reality show and needs a break from it. When he comes to find out some new additions to the show were going to happen and feature him he's less then trilled. Meanwhile Chelsea is a tough girl in the roller derby girl who sells soaps online and its still trying to get past a tragedy that occurred to her. She isn't looking for anyone. Both Chelsea and Sebastian were invited to the same wedding and don't want to be bothered and when Sebastian popped the question of marriage of convince that would work for both of them Chelsea took him on his offer.

Can't even remember how this book came into my possession but I'm surprised that I hadn't read it sooner. This is just the type of book I enjoy reading and so glad that I just did. I loved the characters and how they worked out for each other. I couldn't stand Sebastian's mother for obvious reasons. I loved that there was so much drama. I loved watching the development for Chelsea as a character learning to find some normalcy after what happened and finding a way to be able to be with other person. I thought that it was interesting that she was able to get her aggression out in the Roller Derby as a different persona. There was so much going on I just couldn't put the book down. I loved this book and recommend you lovely readers to check this book out.

While leaving the store she finds out that her car is messed up and the mechanic seems to be just what she needs for her car and herself. Things are starting to look up until she is faced with a situation to choose the guy or her career.

When I saw the word The End I was like Whaaa???? Thankfully there is a next book because that is no way to end the book I wanted more and instantly looked towards finding the second book. This book is apart of a trilogy for those of you who are just coming across this book. I really enjoyed this book. There was humor, bit of drama and steam to keep things interesting. This book was pretty short, so good if you are pressed for time. I liked the characters. Rather then taking him in for killing she now wants to take him in to save him from himself knowing he'll eventually land himself in jail for good.

I really loved this book I would definitely rate it a 4.5 Star. It was entertaining, funny, plenty of drama, sass with a bit of steam. I loved Graces character, she was pretty bad ass being able to take care of herself with any challenge that came her way, whether someone is trying to rob her, family members throwing verbal jabs, or taking in bad guys. I loved that she fought for what she thought was right. Overall I great story, never a dull moment.

Blurb:

Can the bad boy of Copper Ridge, Oregon, make good—and win the rodeo girl of his dreams?

Kate Garrett keeps life simple—working hard, riding her beloved horses, playing cards with her brothers. Lately, though, she feels a bit restless, especially when family friend Jack Monaghan is around. Sexy and shameless, Jack is the kind of trouble you don't tangle with unless you want your heart broken. Still, Kate could always use his help in learning how to lasso someone a little less high-risk…

Jack can't pinpoint the moment the Garrett brothers' little sister suddenly stopped seeming so…little. Now here he is, giving flirting tips to the one woman who needs zero help turning him on. Love's a game he's never wanted to play. But he'll have to hurry up and learn how before the best thing that ever entered his life rides right back out again…

Review:

Kate learned to appreciate the simpler things in life like hanging out with her brothers, going out on her horse, as well as work on her horse racing. But lately shes been wanting a bit more after seeing her brothers getting married off. Seems like she is the only one left behind (I can understand that feeling unfortunately) and wants to put herself out there. With the help of on of her brothers best friend, Jack, who knows his way around she will learn to make herself more approachable and date able.Thing his Jack has his eyes on Kate after realizing shes no longer the young girl he had once bothered. It seems the more he helps her Kate can't help but think the same thing.

I'm a sucker for books that have to do with cowboys so naturally I requested to review for this a honest review for Netgally. So basically the story line is generic but I loved that the author make each characters all the more interesting with their personalities and backgrounds. If you lovely books with a bit... well more then a bit of steam you'll really enjoy this book. I loved that even though this was book three I don't feel like I really missed out on the previous books, although with out this book turned out I'll be sure to put those on my TBR list. I loved watching the interaction between the two, I loved that there was the dual point of view to help me understand a bit more in depth about the two characters. Overall a great book I really enjoyed reading this and recommend you lovely readers to check this book out.

Book Tour : Fighting Shadows

Flint’s highly anticipated emotional story is FINALLY here!

I come from a family of fighters. I always thought I’d follow in their shadows, becoming unstoppable in the ring. That changed the day I saved the life of a woman I loved, but could never have.
My brother hailed me as a hero, and my reward was a wheelchair.
Paralyzed, my life became an inescapable nightmare.
Until I met her.
Ash Mabie had a heart-stopping smile and a laugh that numbed the rage and resentment brewing inside of me. She showed me that even the darkest night still had stars, and it didn’t matter one bit that you had to lie in the weeds to see them.
I was a jaded asshole who fell for a girl with a knack for running away. I couldn’t even walk but I would have spent a lifetime chasing her.
Now, I’m on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life.
Fighting the shadows of our past.
Fighting to reclaim my future.
Fighting for her.

My Review:

After reading this book I'm not sure how I feel about it. I liked the character but I feel like there was not much of a story. The steamy scene were pretty good but not much else. The characters were likable. For some reason I just couldn't get into the book. There wasn't much drama or anything to keep me interesting. I kept waiting for some conflict or something to happen but nada. I guess I've been reading too much books with loads of drama meanwhile this book was pretty chill making this book more dull. I did like it but I'm rating its a three star out of five.
I dropped to my hands and knees, following the noise. “Got it!” I shouted, stretching my arm under the bed and barely catching the alarm clock with the tips of my fingers.
I quickly turned it off, and he had apparently found the second alarm, because the room fell blessedly silent. Well, that was until I heard Flint breathe, “Fuck,” from behind me.
It was then that I remembered I was naked and kneeling with my chest to the carpeted floor and my ass sticking straight up in the air. I glanced over my shoulder to find him standing, staring down at me, his already large cock thickening between his legs—a sight that had me returning his curse.
“Don’t move,” he commanded when I started to sit up.
As Flint’s heated eyes leveled me, there was a part of me that felt as though I should have covered up. But I didn’t feel insecure at all. Under his gaze, I felt more secure and wanted than I had in my entire life, and for that alone, I pressed my ass even higher into the air.
“I lied. Get on the bed, but right back in that position.”
First, I had other plans. I sat up but didn’t push to my feet. Instead, I spun on my knees and slowly crawled over to him.
“Don’t do that,” he warned, but his eyes said otherwise.
“I have a few apologies to make.” I licked my lips.
“On the bed, Ash.”
“No,” I responded.
He arched an admonishing eyebrow, which I ignored.
“You did a lot of things to me last night—things I loved. But there was something I wanted to do.” I wrapped my hand around his hard-on, steadily gliding to the tip and back again. “I’m going to suggest you sit down.”
And for once, Flint didn’t have a retort. He backed up to the edge of the bed and dropped his crutches to the floor. I smiled in victory as I followed him forward, running my hands up his thighs until I reached the base of his cock. Then I lowered my head to kiss the tip.
“Wait,” he urged.
But I was done taking his orders. I slid his length as deep as possible into my mouth. “Fuck,” he hissed.
“Wait,” he repeated as I glided back up his shaft. He pulled me upright before bending forward to kiss my shoulder. Using my chin to tip my head, he forced my eyes to his. “I said wait.” He chastely kissed my mouth and teased his hands down my sides to rest on my hips.
Then the ground below my knees disappeared and the entire world turned upside down.
Literally.
A loud laugh escaped my throat as Flint flipped me onto the bed to join him. He juggled me like a rag doll until he until he found a position that suited him—kneeling over his face.
I stopped laughing immediately when his mouth sealed over my clit.
Then I cried out as his long finger found my opening. His other hand darted between us and lifted his cock toward my mouth.
With a swirl of his tongue, he dropped his head to the bed long enough to say, “Now, apologize all you like while I have breakfast.”
I gasped as his fingers began a rhythm inside me that left me unable to focus on anything else.
“Are you sore?”
“A little.” I managed to pull myself together long enough to find his cock again. But I instantly regretted my answer when he removed his finger.
“Then you come on my mouth, but you better get busy.” He swatted my ass deliciously hard before using each cheek to pull me down to hover only a centimeter from his mouth. “Because I’m coming in yours too.” He pulled me down until I completely covered his face, licking and sucking in a deep and greedy way I should have been embarrassed by.
But embarrassment would have required thoughts, and right then, every single brain cell I possessed had abandoned me in the hunt for climax.
I came on his mouth, all right. Then, when I finally got my act together, he came in mine as well. And Flint being Flint, well, he was such an overachiever that he insisted on showing me exactly how much he accepted my sexual apologies. So, before I fell asleep on his chest, I came one last time with his hand between my legs.
I decided I could live with two alarm clocks if that was the wake-up call they provided.

Review : XO, Blake

Xo, Blake By Avery Aster

Genre : New Adult, Romance, Erotica, Funny, Fiction, MM Romance
Pages:90
Expected publication: June 9th 2015
Goodreads: Click

For fans of the dark comedy BDSM film Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down comes an erotic exploration in domination and submission where Ivy League students let their naughtiest desires run wild…

If you think my besties Lex, Taddy, and Vive have had some bad luck earlier this year, cut to me at Glamorama. Last thing I remembered was dancing with Diego and Miguel from my English class, when the room started… spinning. And not in a good way! We got sick. Think Regan in The Exorcist. Taddy was rushed to the hospital. Holding on for dear life, I was carried out by the boys and taken back to their dorm.

Now I’m waking up in Diego’s bed and Miguel keeps staring at me from across the room. I’ve wanted to get into these dudes’ pants since the first day of class. But Diego told me he likes to be tied up and—wait for it—spanked. WTF! The news on TV reports that last night we all got roofied. And Vive just texted me saying that someone is out to kill her. Could this semester get any more bizarre? -–Blake Morgan, college freshman, gay best friend, virgin

The Undergrad Years is a new adult contemporary miniseries about first loves, independence, and everlasting friendships.
"I realized, right then and there, that all of life's choices have repercussions. Some good. Some bad. That whatever I spent the following day doing and the day after that would shape the rest of my life."

Blake and his friends got to a night club Glamorama with his gal pals and a night of dancing turned downward when everyone around them was getting sick. Blake was lucky enough to be taken under the wing of his former crushes while his friends and other bystanders in the club ended up in the hospital. As things start to progress Blake and his former crush Diego relationship starts to heat up.

Overall I really enjoyed this book it was fun and steamy and I love his friends who are over dramatic and just great characters. I've been following along with this series and getting to know Blake and his amazing friends. I enjoyed seeing the attraction between Diego and Blake but I'm wondering a bit more about Miguel.

This was a great book and fun to read I suggest you lovely readers to check out this book. For those of you who are new to this book and series I suggest you read the others books first to get to know a bit more about Diego and the others as well as seeing them in their adult books.

Sometimes we keep the ones we love from knowing the truth about us, who we are, what we've done, because we don't want to hurt them. In the long run, are we only making it worse?
