FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS?
Sophie Fortune Robinson is on a mission. The word around the office watercooler is that the boss's youngest daughter is intent on landing Mr. Right by Valentine's Day—and that she has her eyes, and heart, set on a certain hunk in Marketing. But when she enlists her longtime pal and coworker Mason Montgomery to teach her how to get a man to notice her, little does she know she's already captured his attention!
Now Mason's in a real bind! He has just a few short weeks to fight his way out of the "friend zone." On his agenda: convincing sweet Sophie that he is the real man of her dreams! Will Fortune smile on true love's venture?
Sophie is looking to have a wonderful Valentines day with the man of her dreams which is the guy in marketing Thom. With more unfortunate news about her fathers indiscretions shes just looking to be happy dating Thom and looking forward to Valentines day. While she works on catching his eye she looks towards her friend Mason for some advice not knowing that he is the one that cares for her.

So this was a sweet book. Really is a nice book to read around Valentines day. I thought it was interesting getting to see more of the Fortune family and seeing how everyone is dealing with news with even more siblings popping up due to their fathers cheating ways. I loved getting to see Manson's side of things and seeing him be there for Sophie. I thought it was interesting seeing how Sophie is handling things and how she felt like dating Thom and her curiosity towards her mother. I would really like to know her mothers oddness towards everything thats going on. Overall this is a really good book and I enjoyed it.

Synopsis:

BE MY (OFFICE) VALENTINE

Wes Robinson may be part of the lost Fortune family, but he's more concerned with the fortunes of Robinson Tech. On Valentine's Day, his company will be rolling out a new computer app that will—allegedly—fix users up with their ideal mate. Wes has nothing against amour; he just has no faith in the perfect, lasting kind. He'll take a passionate fling any day.

Tell that to Vivian Blair, however. Wes's longtime employee with the earnest heart has complete faith that her app will work. So when she and Wes are challenged to use My Perfect Match themselves, it's game on. What follows is a series of dating debacles—and Viv's horrifying suspicion that her Mr. RIght might be her curmudgeonly boss in the cubicle next door…

Review:

Vivian is working on an app that'll ask the users a set of questions and come up with suitable mates. Wes has set the app to launch on valentines day, even if he's a skeptic of love that doesn't stop the fact that it'll make him money. When he reveals that he'll be using the app, Vivian is pretty much horrified at the idea knowing full well that he doesn't believe in that sort of thing meanwhile she believes in love.

I liked this book it was unique and fun. So far I've read many books based around Valentines Day and I have to say this is my favorite Valentines Day read. I liked the characters and getting to know them. I loved the chemestry between the two. I loved that after a bit Vivian after all that fun decided she was worth more and didn't continue what what going on between them, that she didn't want to hid things between them. Overall I really enjoyed this book.

But not even Josie can resist Noah's tempting proposal of five dates to win her over. By Valentine's Day, Cupid might just have a closer grip on Josie than she'd ever imagined…

Review:

For years Cindy felt like she was being pressured by her family to be something she's not. More specifically she was being pressured to become a doctor when she wanted nothing more and to find herself. So for a year she left without a trace to find herself. Now she is back and working on a better relationship for her family that is with the help of Noah Anson. Meanwhile she is going to help him get a better relationship with his sister. Little did they expect the more they are around each other that they would fall for one another.

I thought this book was cute. It was nice, sweet and steamy. I love how their relationship / interaction was between Cindy and Noah. I thought was interesting seeing how they slowly but surely they find a way to reconcile what was between the family members. I thought each of the back stories were interesting. I love that there was the point of view of both characters. The book was very well written and I really enjoyed it, I finished it within one day. Since it's based during Valentines Day this is the perfect time to get your hand on it. I love finding books that can relate to the current holidays / seasons. If you do too and love a bit of romance then check this book out.

Pages:224
Published January 19th 2016 by Harlequin

Synopsis:

It's raining cats and dogs and babies?

When charismatic K-9 cop Alex Santiago shows up at Paradise Animal Clinic with a tiny gray kitten in his jacket, something inside Dr. Cassie Marshall shifts. The overworked single mom and veterinarian had been sure her plate was already full. Yet something about Alex's coffee-brown eyes has made her reconsider. Surely she can make room in her heart for just one more.

But two? When Cassie learns she is pregnant after a hot night with Alex, she panics. How can she handle one man, his dog, her little girl, their cat and a baby? Her sexy deputy sheriff has made no bones about wanting a simple relationship. So how can she tell her love-shy Valentine that their already full menagerie is about to be visited by the stork?

Review:

Alex is a new cop in town and Cathy is less than thrilled, she has her guards up for this guy because of something in the past but slowly but surely a break from her walls. Throw in a kitten, Cassie's daughter, Alex's K9 and a pregnancy you got a mess of drama to see.

I like this book, it was sweet, it was short, it was just an overall good book. I love the characters and their back stories were interesting. I love that there was both point of views. I love seeing the interaction between Alex, Cassie, and the daughter. This book is well written and a sweet book to read for Valentines Day what better time to get this book then now?
