Is home a place…
…or a person?

Vet Jessie Swinton wants one thing: to forget her ex the minute that she arrives in her new home, Santa Medina. But whilst the small town is the perfect place to start over, it's not the Sierra Nevada mountains that Jessie finds solace in—it's paramedic Cabe McBride and his adorable pup! He understands her fear of heartbreak better than anybody else. So why does Cabe also tempt Jessie to give love a second chance?
Jessie is the new Vet in town still healing from a broken heart from her ex. Cabe is a paramedic who's known for breaking hearts and when he's pup gets hurt while on duty he goes to the new Vet for help. Sparks fly but both are dealing with things when it comes to love.

This as a pretty cute book I liked getting to know the characters and seeing where they were coming from when it came to relationship issues. I liked seeing how they were with eachother and I couldn't help but root for them. There was ups and downs for what they were going to face with jobs and life ands stuff but it was interesting seeing how they were going to work everything out in the end. If you are looking for a light book with little drama you'll enjoy this.

He's kept love at bay...

Can she unlock his heart?

In this Nurses in the City story, Grace Gibson loves her job as a transplant coordinator at a Sydney hospital. But she's blindsided when a ghost from her past reappears. Devastatingly handsome surgeon Marcus Washington was her childhood neighbor--but he's all man now, and hiding a wealth of pain. Will Grace be the woman to break down his walls and claim his heart?

Grace is a transplant coordinator who managed to spot someone from her past, Marcus Washington who is the new surgeon in the hospital. He's hoping to prove himself and the last thing he needs is for Grace to remind him of his past.

Overall this was a pretty good medical romance. I loved getting to know them  and their backstories. Learning about the secrets Marcus was holding when he left his home and dealing with abandonment issues and how he was just holding up as a person. I thought it was interesting to see how he made himself into the person who he was in this book. I loved that romance and connection between the two, it was quick and seemly rushed into but with the limited about of pages that are in this book its to be expected. Overall it was a pretty good book and I really enjoyed it.

One night…
That could change her life forever!

In this Hot Greek Docs story, when an earthquake hits the Greek island of Mythelios, nurse Cailey Tomaras rushes to help—only to encounter childhood crush Dr. Theo Nikolaides! As the trauma fades, they find comfort between the sheets… But when Cailey realizes the consequences of that night, she must prove to lone wolf Theo that he’d make the perfect dad.

Cailey and Theo has a brief history but when it was clear that they would never be together Cailey set her sights else ware to become a nurse. When a earthquake takes up things in a major way she goes back to her hometown to see where she is needed. Little did she expect to run into Theo, even more so that they would end up spending the night together leading to some unexpected consequences. Things get even more so complicated while they try to work everything about their relationship out.

This book is pretty typical and yet enjoyable. Its simple and easy to find myself falling into it. I read this book within hours and enjoyed seeing how the characters worked together and how they worked on solving their issues. I liked that there was enough drama to keep things interesting. I liked getting to know the characters and loved how the book ended. This was just a nice story to escape into while.

Two doctors are on thin ice as they race to save the world from a deadly disease.

Epidemic researcher Dr. Avery Thatcher has studied countless illnesses but nothing prepares her for what she finds at a remote Antarctic base: the man she never wanted to see again and a mysterious ailment ravaging inhabitants. Avery will do whatever it takes to discover the illness's cause, and she vows to keep her heartbreaking history with Dr. Grant Jones in the past even if reignited passion brings them dangerously close.

For Grant, ending this outbreak and regaining Avery's trust are vital. As their hunt to contain a lethal pathogen escalates, he'll put everything on the line to avert disaster. But will another insidious threat stop them both cold?"

Dr.Avery sent to a Arctic base to research and a random illness that popped up killing multiple people. She will do what ever is in her power to find the source and stop it from spreading. Last thing she expected was to run into Grant an ex of Avery's who is also working on a way to stop and research this illness.

Overall I thought that this book was good. It had an interesting set of characters that I enjoyed getting to know. I also loved that I got the POV of the the guy who created and spread the virus as well as the reasons she does so. I loved seeing how strained things where and how it was resolved between Avery and Grant. I loved seeing the suspense of wondering when and if something would happen to the main characters, and wondering if the illness would potentially mutate into something more dangerous. There was plenty of factors to question when it came to this kind of thing and I just thought it was interesting to read. I also loved seeing that romance rekindled between the two main characters because let's be honest a lot of books from this publisher have romance so you kinda gotta expect that sort of thing and I loved seeing that bit of romance in the book. Overall this book was really good, fast paced, unique and I really loved it.

Juliet is sent to England with her daughter in tow to see about performing a life saving procedure to a expectant mother when one of the quadruplets life might be in danger. Dr.Charlie Warren is their ob-gyn and the couple trusts him and his judgment, but Juliet is there to give the family a different option so they can choose what they need.

I've managed to finish this book sooner then I thought I would. I managed to finish this book in about two hours. I really enjoyed the two main characters and seeing their strong personalities come together to create conflict between the two. I loved that even if it was a rocky start they were able to work together professionally even if they saw the situation at hand from two different spectrums. I also loved how sweet Charlie Warren was towards Juliets daughter. Overall this was a sweet book and I enjoyed it.

Unexpected surprises come in twos!
When Dr. Matteo Torres invites nurse Harriet Monticello to work with orphans in Buenos Aires, her head says yes! It's something she's always wanted to do…although her heart is wary of the irresistible off-limits doc. Shy Harriet isn't used to taking anything for herself, and yet before they board the plane for Argentina, the chemistry between them combusts and they give in to just one night together…
But their night of recklessness isn't without consequences. And now Harriet has nine months to melt this brooding doctor's heart!
Nurse Harriet is going to work with Dr.Matteo in Buenos Aires to help the orphans. Thing in after a steamy night things get complicated leaving a strain in their relationship. It was just one heated night, wasn't supposed to be more then that until they find out shes pregnant and he isn't interested in having a family.

I liked this book, it was interested getting to know the characters. I thought it was interesting getting to know more about Dr.Matteo and why he was doing what he's doing and why he doesn't want to a family or to connect to any children that he managed to help throughout the way. I thought Harriet's story was interesting as well, shes been taking the backseat and helping her sister and others rather then forming a family or something of her own. I feel like I can connect to her character in that way which made me like her character even more. I thought the overall story was fun and enjoyable and I liked it.

When Candy and Steele get together everything seems right but its only for a short period when Steele contract at the place he's currently working at and Candy is going to be in vacation. Will the romance between the two last especially since Candy finds out shes pregnant?

I thought that this was a short sweet and fun read. Its not that much unique I feel like I've read something like this before but I wasn't able to put five star. I wish that there was more differences between this book and other to really make it stand out. It was very fast paced almost to the point where their everything kind of felt rushed. Overall I really enjoyed this book, the characters were interesting and I loved that there was a dual point of view. Oh and I love the cover its really pretty and drawn me into checking out this book.

Review : It Happened One Night Shift

It Happened One Night Shift by Amy Andrews

Genre: Romance, Medical

Expected publication: January 1st 2015 by Mills & Boon Medical

Ever since brooding ex-military medic Gareth Stapleton lost his beloved wife to breast cancer he's kept his distance from everything and everyone. Until, one night shift, Dr Billie Ashworth-Keyes waltzes into his life and he finds himself locked in the hottest kiss of his life! Is Billie exactly what he needs to make his days – and nights – a lot more meaningful?

Both Gareth and Billie are in the medical field and have a trauma that they are still trying to get past. Gareth is at the point of his life where is sure about what he's happy with and where his life is going to go. Meanwhile Billie is still young and being pushed around by her parents and unhappy with her choice in working as in the Emergency Room. When an accident causes both to meet and the job to keep them around each other its hard to ignore that spark between them.

I thought that this short book was enjoyable. I loved watching the connection between the characters. I loved that I got a dual point of views. I also loved how sure Gareth was of himself and helped Billie stand up for herself. I thought that the story line was entertaining and really enjoyed this book.
