I really enjoyed this book. Seeing the process of who they thought the kidnapper was, trying to narrow down suspects and figure out who is behind the kidnapping was interesting. There was plenty of moments where the kidnapper was making sure to make things difficult and cause that father to go off and do his down thing when he was supposed to wait for the FBI's in charge of this case. The amount of love he had for his daughter was sweet he was willing to risk everything. Then it comes down to why was the daughter targeted in the first place. There was just more to uncover with each page and it really kept me hooked till the very end.

If you ask me I think the bit were it mentions in the description about Rachel's daughter being abducted is a spoiler because that doesn't even happen tell the readers are well over 75% into the book. Anyways this was a pretty great book this was book as full of mystery and suspense. It was fast paced and had plenty to keep the readers hooked. I enjoyed seeing the two work together on the case. Also I liked how although there is a minor romance going on it didn't over power the mission they were on. There really wasn't time to be playing around while the child could be getting farther and farther way from their reach. Overall this was a pretty great book. I really enjoyed it.

Overall a pretty great mystery suspense type book. I really enjoyed it if there wasn't drama for the case, there was the romance between the two characters. I loved also hearing about Josh's sister and that she didn't fall of the face of the planet while the story was going. I loved seeing how they worked with his sister trying to get her a housing with adults like her but that she wasn't helpless and could fend for herself and had a personality. I loved seeing that connection between Josh and Annie and how they worked together. Overall this was a pretty great book and I really enjoyed it.

This was a non stop action packed book with a bit of romance just the way I like it. I do mean it when I say that there was a bit of romance because it didn't take away that suspenseful action packed kinda thing that was going on in this book. They are in an unsafe area with a warlord wreaking havoc its hardly time to start a romane. There wa just enough to keep things interesting without taking away from that whole main objective. Overall a pretty good book I really enjoyed it.

There was so much going on on with this book that it will keep you on your toes. I loved that there was so much going on and getting to see the connections as they progressed. I kept wondering what else could go wrong with the two because just when it seems that things might end up getting better things take a turn for the worse and it's interesting seeing how everything gets resolved in the ending. I loved the connection between Colby and Piper and there are plenty of moments that shes gets down right steamy. Overall I found myself really enjoying this book.

This book had everything I enjoy in a mystery romance, thing is I'm not fond of books that have cults in it. If I knew I would've never picked this book up I'm not a fan a books with cults in it. Even knowing that though I still manged to find myself sucked up into this book and enjoying the characters and just how everything played out in the book. I loved that connection between the two, I loved that they both would risk everything for those that they love. Overall this was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.

In comes the new guy Lars who does help in her in away to get what she wants to be an actual body guard but there seems to be some secrets he's hiding.

I loved this book, it was entertaining and mysterious. It was suspenseful questioning what happened and if Lar's sister and if she was even alive. I loved how observant Nikkie was with it came to things and went with her gut. I loved that she was the type of person to stand up for herself. I loved that there was plenty of twists throughout the book that surprised me. If you are looking for a book with more mystery not as much action then you'll want to check this book out I really enjoyed this book.

I loved this book. There was so much going on hardly any down time before something happened. I loved that there was that not only does the readers get the pov of both main characters but the kidnappers pov as well. I also loved the connection between the characters and seeing everything came out in the end. I loved that I managed to be surprised in the ending, I wasn't expecting that person! Overall a really great book it kept me hooked till the end.

Loved this book. Fast paced, easy to get hooked on with the loads of things going on. Throw in that old flame the two once had, a good murder mystery to solve and this was a pretty great book. I loved seeing that connection between the two. I loved that there was plenty of mystery wondering who is framing Joe. Just an overall fantastic book I just couldn't put down. Highly Recommend!

I loved this book, it was fast paced with so much going on to keep the readers hooked. I loved the characters. I loved how questionable some people were making me curious if they are truthful or hiding something causing them to be apart of this case. I loved that there was plenty mystery and suspense, there was always something going on. I loved that heat between the two characters, that even if they shouldn't be together I couldn't help but root for them. Overall it was a great book and I really enjoyed it!

Also I never heard of this series until after I read it, apparently I went straight into the fourth book. So that goes to say that this book is a standalone. I probably would've appreciated this book more if I had read the previous books.
