When Graham Braden travels to Oak Falls, Virginia to attend the wedding of his buddy Reed Cross to Grace Montgomery, he sticks around to help with renovations to Reed’s new theater. The last thing he expects is to be asked to assess and possibly invest in Grace’s sister Morgyn’s business endeavor. Graham is a careful, keen businessman, and Morgyn is impulsive, disorganized, and more interested in the energy flow in her eclectic retail shop than in the accuracy of her records. While Graham isn’t ready to open his pockets to the sassy, sexy business owner, he may be ready to open his heart.
I loved this book! I loved seeing how they were pretty much opposites they manage to balance out eachother personalities well. Graham is a investor engineer who loves adventures. Morgyn who also loves adventures, is more a free spirit crafty type that's more like lets jump in and see what happens kinda person. Morgyn is a crafty thrift store owner who revamps everything she sells and Graham just might be the one to help her business out when its in a bit of trouble. I just loved seeing that playfulness they had with eachother, the romance, connection between the two and there are plenty of steamy scenes to go along with that. I enjoyed seeing how everything played out how they were able to work something out with her business, with their relationship, with the fact that he's not even from where they are so knowing there just might be a time limit to what they have. This book was such a fun read and I really enjoyed it.
“What are your three most favorite things?” Morgyn asked as she strummed the guitar.
“That’s a hard one.”
“Okay, and the next two?” She bumped him with her shoulder, looking as sweet as she did sexy wearing one of his flannel shirts over her dress.
He loved her quirky sense of humor.
“Shouldn’t that be one of your favorite things?” he teased.
She shifted her gaze up toward the sky and strummed a faster tune, singing, “It’s your turn, not mine.”
“I’ve got a lot of favorite things.” He ran his fingers along her leg. “Your sexy legs.”
Her eyes darkened, and she played a little slower.
“And the way flecks of darker blue glitter in your eyes when you get turned on.”
“Cracker,” she said just above a whisper.
“I can’t help it that you’re beautiful.”
“Stop. You’re embarrassing me. Tell me something real.”
“That was real, and number three would be your free spirit.”
“Says Mr. Prepared, who brought a pop-up shower stall, a battery-operated heater, and a Coleman stove like my grandfather used. I’m willing to bet there’s a kitchen sink around here somewhere.”
“No sink, but I can rig one up if you need it.” He leaned in for a kiss, lingering because her kisses were unlike any others. She kissed with the same energy she seemed to do everything else, giving herself over to it completely, savoring every second.
Her eyes remained closed for a few heated seconds after their lips parted. When she opened them, a sated smile appeared like a gift. He wondered if she kissed other guys like that, or if she felt the same unfamiliar, unstoppable connection he did.
“I like kissing you, sunshine.” He brushed her hair behind her ear and kissed her again, slower and sweeter than the last. “I’m adding that to my list. I think I need more than three things.”

Book Tour Review : Love Like Ours

A Romance with All the Right Moves!

Love Like Ours by Melissa Foster

Sugar Lake #3
Releasing Sept 11, 2018
Montlake

One wrong move, and she meets a guy with all the right ones…

Talia Dalton lives her life on cruise control. Despite her successful career as a professor, she prefers protecting her broken heart to taking chances. She’s calm, cool, collected, and steady. Until the morning she takes her eyes off that familiar road and almost runs over the sexiest man she’s ever seen. It may not be the best way to start the day, but it might be the type of shake-up she needs.

Male dancer Derek Grant has goals, and nothing is going to get in the way of achieving them. As a graduate student and the sole caretaker of his ailing father, he hasn’t much time for relationships. Then Talia crashes into his life. Sweet, pretty—and so buttoned-up that he can’t wait to help her cut loose.

For Derek, falling in love was a beautiful accident waiting to happen. And it might be exactly what Talia needs—if she’s willing to let go of the past and embrace every surprise Derek has to offer.

LOVE LIKE OURS is being published by Montlake (an Amazon imprint) and won’t be available on other ebook retailers, but you can download a FREE Kindle ereader app to read it here, or order the paperback.

Talia is a teacher that isn't much for risk taking especially with her heart since she's had it broken before. Then the one risk that slipped though with her not quiet paying attention on the road almost hitting the hottest guy shes ever seen. From then on things get interesting. Derek is a dancer and bartender making ends meet while taking care of his father. He a man who knows what he wants and he has his eyes set on Talia.

I thought that this was an interesting and enjoyable book. I loved the connection, romance, and steamy scenes between the two. I loved the dual perspectives. I thought it was interesting getting Talia's take on things and how she was dealing with the fact that her boyfriend was a dancer and how her family would take the news when she tells them. I loved how loyal and loving Derek's character was he wasn't ashamed of his job and was willing to do everything he can to make sure that his father was taken care of. Overall this was a pretty great book, I pretty much devoured it from start to end. Highly Recommend!

Review : Whispers at Seaside

Your next fun, flirty and sweet with heat romance!

Whispers at Seaside by Addison Cole

Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers #10
Releasing June 13, 2018

Having a mad crush on her boss’s son, Matt Lacroux—an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy—is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company, and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt’s life is hours away from Mira’s home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for.

With hopes of becoming dean off the table, and too many months of longing for a woman who lived too far away to pursue, Matt’s publishing contract couldn’t have come at a better time. He heads home to Cape Cod on a brief sabbatical, intent on starting his book, and finally getting his arms around sweet, beautiful Mira.

A surprise encounter leads to midnight confessions. The more time Matt and Mira spend together, the deeper their relationship grows, and the love and attention Matt showers on Hagen is more than she has ever dreamed of. But Matt’s sabbatical is only temporary, and Mira’s not saving his father’s company so she can leave it behind. Will their whispers of love be enough for one of them to change their life forever?

Sweet with Heat books are the sweet editions of the Love in Bloom steamy romance novels by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster. Sweet with Heat books convey all of the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language.

Matt is a Princeton Professor on a sabbatical hoping to land his dream job of being a dean but isn't on the horizon and is looking to take some time off to write a book. Mira is a single mother hoping to keep her job from going under by expressing a few new ideas to help improve the job situation. Matt and Mira no longer have the distance between eachother and see where their relationship can grow.

This was such a cute book. I really enjoyed seeing the relationship's between Matt and Mira and Matt with Miras son. I loved that Mira's boy didn't fall to the side and was very much in their lives. Sometimes in books I've noticed that the children seem to go MIA though out the books popping up here and there really no interaction causing the readers to just forget that the child is there but this book wasn't the case. There was plenty of mentions of the child and how Mira misses her son and they did activities with him. As for the relationship between Matt and Mira I loved seeing that connection and seeing their relationship grow with each chapter. I loved seeing how steamy things can get without getting to in depth which I appreciate. This was a pretty great book and I really enjoyed it. Highly Recommend!

Tour / Review: With Love, Ella

With Love, Ella by Alexa Randolph

Publication date: December 12th 2017
Genres: Adult, Contemporary
Ella Chambers is basking in her success as a sought-after New York party planner when she gets her dream job: planning her own wedding to her long-time boyfriend Daniel Collins, a professional football player.

Sadly, amid planning her own nuptials, Ella gets some devastating news that turns her life inside out. Will she and her fiancé finally make it down the aisle, or will tragedy get in the way?

You know what I wasn't prepared for this book, I was expecting a light hearted book with a bit of drama since there was going to be a wedding involved. Nope there was pretty heavy moments with this book bits of drama and it can get emotional at times. I really enjoyed this book and seeing Ella and Daniels relationship the ups and downs of the things that came in their way. When it came to this book I ended up binge reading it because I was enjoying myself so much and when it came to certain details I had to make sure things I seen how things got resolved and everything. Overall pretty great book I really enjoyed it.
