This was such a nice contemporary read. Besides the romance which I want to talk about a bit later I loved the sense of community in this book. I loved with each chapter and journal entry I got to learn more in depth about the two characters. I loved that Caitlin in like a pitbull and once she sunk her teeth into something she wants she wasn't about to let go. I loved that she was really independent and when she came up with an idea there was no half way about it, even if she didn't have the approval of her family she wasn't about to let it hinder from her path and went on to do things that she thought was best. I loved Josh's character and finding out more in depth of what was really going on with him and finding out why he just didn't do relationship and seeing how unlucky he seems to be. Now as for the romance of the two I just wished for more out of it. This book seemed rush when it came to that romance bit but not sure I'm saying this right, it seemed like a quick romance but then it turned out to be weeks in the making and it didn't seem that way, that was the only thing odd to me but what the two had I did enjoy it. Overall if you are looking for a sweet spring time contemporary romance then I'd say check this book out.

Bridgette is a hard working single mother who is doing the best that she can. The last thing she needs is for the the hot new neighbor Bodhi to be distracting her. Bodhi knows his time is limited in his mothers new home while renovating before he is called back to duty as a Special Operative. Both Bridgette and Bodhi have an an undeniable attraction and they have to make it clear that he will be leaving soon so what they will have will be no sting attached because he'll be leaving soon, if only it was that easy to keep their hearts out of the equation.

I enjoyed this book it was both heartwarming and pretty hott. I loving seeing that attraction and relationship between Bodhi and Bridgette. I loved the interaction with Dahlia and Bridgettes son was thrown into the mix, and that they didn't fade into the background. I loved getting to know the main character backgrounds and POV throughout the story. I thought it was interesting seeing how they were working things out knowing they had a limited amount of time together and learning to appreciate the little things because there's a chance when he goes back to his job there might be a chance of him coming back. Ok so there was one thing I didn't like about the book and its pretty stupid, I for some reason couldn't get over Bodhi's name it was distracting to me. This book was pretty great through and I really enjoyed it! 5 of 5 Stars!

It wasn't until I finished the book that I found out that this book was a third in a series so that goes to say that this book is standalone and with how this book turned out I'll be sure to check out the other books.

I can honestly say I really enjoyed the book, I manged to finish this book quickly. I pretty much spent the who day reading it. I usually have a soft spot for westerns, cowboy types of book. I haven't come across the pov of a cowgirl character though and it was an interesting change. I enjoyed the characters and loved that spark and enjoyed the plenty of steamy scenes that happens between Adam and Skye. Now that I'm thinking about it don't remember if I've come across a game developer in  books before until now that that a welcomed change as well. I loved that Skye was a pretty independent women who didn't want to rely on any man to help her out, shes been burned before and she got work and her child to think of. I loved that even when offered she did her own thing and wanted to work out her own issues without anyone help. I loved that there was a few conflicts to keep things interesting.  Overall the story line was interesting, the book is well written and I loved how this book played out was an enjoyable read and I can't wait to get ahold of the previous books.

Review:

Every generation has its thing whether is interracial couples, gay couples is seen as wrong. Delilah grew up in her home knowing gay is bad and wrong. Meanwhile in the outside world she knew it wasn't much of a big deal any more. There is a lgbt community out there. Get over it. Thing is Delilah is lesbian and grew up believing in her heart it was right but her head it was wrong. Now after her parents death and seeing their reaction before it happened crushed her. Shes got to learn to deal with her self hate and see if she got a chance with her friend Ashley who shes been crushing on. 

I thought this was a unique and interesting perspective. Normally when I really any book with LGBT topic, they are usually confident very much like Ashley. Delilah seemed like such a real character. I didn't like the self hate that she was going through but it was good to see her eventually gain the confidence.

I guess in a way I can understand the characters perspective because I grew up hearing that it was wrong and disgusting from my dad. He was just born of a different generation believing it was wrong, a trait he learn from his parents. Thankfully I had my mother who did grow up with a bit more acceptance with the LGBT community because of a couple family members. Most children learn to hate something when a older figure teaches them so. 

Delilah didn't have the adult figure to teach her it was okay and learned to question herself, her judgement and everything she did and eventually learned to get over it.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the character and loved that there was a dual point of view of Delilah and Ashley. I loved how supportive her friends were when they got the news of her coming out. Story line was interesting. If you love steamy books then this is for you. Overall a great story.
