Even their feuding families…
Couldn’t stop their love
Mabel Briscoe wasn’t about to dig up her forbidden feelings for Jensen Crawley now that she’d returned to Garrison, Texas. Yet how could she deny the handsome single dad when he asked her to help his little girl get over her fear of animals? Mabel’s special way with four-legged creatures had sweet Samantha believing she was a princess. But Mabel knew falling for a cowboy named Crawley would bring no fairy-tale ending!

Mable and Jensen's families are sworn enemies but that means nothing to Jensen's young daughter Samantha. Not old enough to know anything about the family feud Samantha is convinced that Mabel is a princess that can talk to animals and nothing could change her mind. It seems Samantha's kindness just might bring Mabel and Jensen closer then ever but could the family feud ruin things between the two?
This was a pretty heartwarming book. I just finished reading another family feud book before this and I was a bit worried that might it might ruin my enjoyment of this book thinking that they'll be the same ol thing. But they were completely different and I really loved how this book turned out. I loved how innocent and sweet Samantha was, she was too young to be hampered by the whole feud between families and wore her heart on her sleeve. I loved how kind Mabel was too, she wasn't the type to push anyone away, she wasn't going to ruin Samantha's view on her or treat Jensen and Samantha with anything but respect. I kept getting peeved by the families on the side reminding the two about the feud and it was clear they weren't the kind to change even if this issue was and old one. It was just a nice read, with sweet moments and I really enjoyed this book.
