In the beloved small town of Moose Falls, a holiday dating charade between coworkers starts to feel like the real thing . . .

The youngest of three brothers, Landon Stone would do anything for his grandmother, Hattie—even return to his hometown of Moose Falls. Hattie’s heart is set on her grandsons taking over the family business—and finding their happily-ever-afters in Alaska. When Hattie gets the idea that Landon is romantically entangled with his gorgeous colleague, Bailey Daniels, Landon doesn’t just go along with it—he asks Bailey to join the ruse.

Bailey isn’t sure if she agrees because she adores Hattie for helping her family through their darkest times . . . or because she finds the charmingly nerdy Landon completely irresistible. Either way, it’s extremely easy to appear totally into him. But as they collaborate at work—and after hours—to make Hattie’s Christmas extra special, Bailey and Landon’s relationship starts to feel all too real. What if the only people Landon and Bailey are fooling this season . . . are themselves?

Landon is back in the town of Moosefall after his fall from grace from a job he loves but he ended up being framed for something and lost it. He has every intention of figuring out going back and redeem himself but until then he's home able to see family and especially his grandmother Hattie who has quite the personality but is on borrowed time knowing the end is near. Hattie got some things shes needs to work on before her time runs out and is keeping those she loves near and dear on their toes with her interesting requests shaking things up for her family for the better.

I'm used to my fast paced books that this one seems to drag but for good reason, there was so much going on to unpack with this book. I loved Hattie was an interesting gal and I loved how quirky she was. She really had the best heart and was meddling when it came to her family and it really did manage to help push long the best outcomes for the ones she loves. For Landon he had his heart set on doing bigger better things in the scientific world and somehow finds his place in his families' business, I mean he has no intention to stay but it was interesting seeing how things change for him as his fake relationship turns into some thing more. I overall this was a pretty good book I really enjoyed it.
