Scarlett is an actress on the run with her assistant to get away her former agent who isn't getting the hint and is stalking her. In the hopes of maybe getting away from him she runs to her estranged families Ranch but things take a turn when things go south for those who are around her. Miles is the host who's keeping an eye out for her and the other guest at the ranch and seems to has misjudged his first impression with her and now we'll do everything he can to keep everyone safe.
I really enjoyed this book and seeing the clash between Miles and Scarlett. He misjudged her in the beginning thinking she was spoiled actress and it was interesting seeing him warm up to her. Then there was the whole paranoia that was going on for Scarlet wondering if her stalker was going to find her but also the fact that she's on an estranged families Ranch and wondering if she was going to bump into her family. It was interested in getting to know a bit more when I came to that aspect as well. I love the whole suspense of it all and wondering what would happen next and overall it was a really good book I really enjoyed it it was pretty fast for me.
