Dr. Presley is laying low right now because of a person she thought was her friend was really trying to take over her life and her life is in danger. When she's asked to help someone who has been shot she reluctantly rushes over to find out the guy she's helping is the local leader of a motorcycle club. Now he owes her a favor and plans to go through with it if only she gave him a reason but soon enough he finds out about her past friend is after her and will do everything he can to protect her.
I don't even remember why I even picked up this book I think I recognized the name and knew I was familiar with the authors name from a previous book and just took a chance. I can say I am not disappointed this book was pretty great. I loved seeing how these two opposite people from different worlds end up together. I mean he was protecting her as she tries to get her old friend to get out in the open and admit her misdeeds but this was pretty great seeing how everything came out in the end. I loved seeing the attraction between Presley and Palmer. Overall great book highly recommend. Once I started this book I honestly was hooked till the very end.
