She’s his only chance at redemption…
And he’s her only chance at survival!

After her sister’s murder, Lilly Shaw has stopped giving anyone—including Helen’s ex-boyfriend, Dave Giblan—second chances. But she and Dave are suddenly shoved together when a deadly criminal takes them both hostage at gunpoint. As they race against the clock to outwit their enemy, Lilly and Dave must put aside their differences and save one another once and for all.
Lilly is still reeling from the death of her sister who was murdered. Now shes cleaning up the mess left behind and honestly doesn't want anything to do with her sisters ex Dave who according to her sister wasn't a great boyfriend. Then there's a hostage situation at a bank where both Dave and Lilly are at and managed to get away. They never expected something worse waiting for them and now they are forced into a situation where they both have to work together to get away from the deadly criminal who has them hostage again.

You know what I don't think I've come across a book where I sorta some what sympathized with the criminal which is a kinda wierd thing for me. That was one of the qualities of this book I liked about this book, I thought it was interesting getting to know him and seeing Lilly get to get him talking about himself. I mean the dude was cold, ruthless, and heartless but it was interesting getting a different side of the criminal. I enjoyed seeing how the two worked together in this impossible situation they've been placed in. I loved that this book was clean as well. I loved how truly caring Lilly was I mean even after everything the criminal was doing she still found it in her heart to help the dude. I mean she was sort of forced into a situation of helping but in her mind it was interesting the direction things went. With the amount of time I've said interesting I guess you can say that I liked this book and I really did. Highly Recommend.
