Their mission: deliver a ruthless spy to justiceBut can they outlast a storm as dangerous as their target?
Tracking an elusive Russian operative, CIA agent Nissa Beck has no choice but to ask for help as a hurricane descends on New Orleans. She turns to alpha navy SEAL Cole Perriman. Used to conquering impossible odds, now he must protect beautiful Nissa. But as unstoppable storms and passions rage, there’s more at stake for them than survival.
So here's something I wasn't expecting while reading this book, although Nissa is supposed to be a CIA agent I was pleasantly surprised that she wasn't ditsy. It was clear she wasn't courageous as shown in the beginning she was a pretty strong women who played her part in helping and not totally counting on the Seals to be there for her. She was able to come up with good idea and do her part which I appreciate, not sure why its a common occurrence in books like this for smart women such a sheriff or CIA agents to become a ditz when the all powerful chest thumping male comes around but I'm glad this book wasn't the case. I loved that there was so much going on, I loved that even though there was romance it didn't overpower the book. I loved that there was plenty going on to keep the readers wanting more and honestly I had a hard time putting down the book. I loved watching how everyone worked together and it was such a great book. Overall a pretty great book, highly recommend!
