Desperate to escape her fate as the next wife to be used and discarded, she turns to Jack. But as they chase freedom, they’ll confront an even more dangerous threat: the truth.
Jack is a PI who is on a case to find a missing child believed to be in a cult that may be kidnapping children. Only thing is he has to infiltrate and get the proof of this child. What he wasn't expecting was to meet the lovely Sophia who is already claimed by the cult leader to be his next wife. More then anything Sophia doesn't want to be married to the cult leader and Jack might be the guy to help her out.
I didn't read the description to this book when picked it up and it was pretty much a gamble for me I was either going to like or hate this book. Luckily this book went towards the like category but if I were aware of what this book was about I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have picked up this book. I don't find myself drawn to books with cults in it but found myself pleasantly surprised when I couldn't put this book down. The character was good, it was interesting getting to know about the cult and how things where working and how the leader were able to keep people blind from the true horrors that were taking place. I thought the pacing was pretty good, didn't feel rushed at all. I loved that there was the dual pov of both main characters. Overall this was a pretty good book I really enjoyed it.
