The maid who saved Christmas

Chambermaid Grace Ellis loves Christmas, but after losing her beloved grandmother, she’ll be spending this festive season working. So when her boss, Finlay ‘Scrooge’ Armstrong offers her a magical Christmas in Scotland, it’s a welcome distraction from her grief.

Widower Finlay is haunted by the ghosts of Christmas past, but snowbound together in his Scottish castle, Grace starts to melt the ice around his heart. He never thought he’d find love again, but maybe finding Grace is his very own Christmas miracle!

I will say that this book is incredibly cheesey, theres that insta love sorta thing going, Christmas merriment, and a castle involve. Like loads of christmas cheesey feels go on when reading this book. If your not into that kinda thing then your not going to like this book. I would say that I'm normally that type of person to turn this book away, but one its the holiday season, and I'm not exactly a grinch and I enjoy truly cheesy romances from time to time. I did like the main characters and getting thier bit of back stories on why christmas has a certain effect on one more then the other. One thing I can admit is that I really disliked Finlay he was a bit messed up in the beginning and hes pretty hot and cold. Then theres Grace who is this amazing christmasy little holiday elf on the outside but really is having a tough time after a family member's death. She was very much into cheering others and it was sweet seeing her melt the heart of finlay. Overall this is a pretty good book I enjoyed it.
