SAFE AT HOME

Leah Murphy just wants to feel safe again after a violent break-in. Moving to Blue Falls, Texas, is the first step. Renting the bunkhouse from rancher Tyler Lowe is the second. But Leah is uneasy around the handsome cowboy, despite his kindness.

Tyler knows all too well how difficult it is to rebuild trust. He's trying to help his young niece heal from her own dark memories. When he sees how Maddie responds to Leah, he can't help feeling grateful—and attracted to the beautiful woman. He knows he has to move slowly to win Leah's heart, but he also knows she's worth the wait.

Leah is going through ptsd after being attacked. No longer feeling safe, she needed a change and to get her life back on track. Leaving the city for a small town where she till try to start over. Meanwhile Tyler is going through some issues that leaves him questioning his sisters safety but that's trumped over making sure that his quiet niece is cared for. He doesn't know much about taking care of children but will do everything in his power to care for her and get her to open up to him. Last thing he need is for his lovely neighbor Leah to distract him.

If you are looking for a book that's heartwarming, with romance and a bit of drama then this is for you. I really enjoyed this book, it was simple and sweet read. I enjoyed seeing Tyler's niece open up after going through some crap when it came to her mother that left her that way. I loved how caring Tyler was and even if it wasn't his responsibility made sure that his niece had everything she would need to live a more better life. I loved seeing the interaction between Leah and the nice it was sweet. What was even sweeter was watching that romance bloom between the two main characters. I loved that there was the dual point of view. I thought that this book was very well written with interesting characters. I liked that this book was pretty short with plenty going on for those readers looking for their romance reading fix with little time to spare.
