It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places. 

I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I first started the book. I mean how cool is it that there's an extension to the Wizarding World? My first thoughts because I have a thing for covers was will it have something to do with the book? I mean am I the only one curious about the whole nest thing? Maybe I am. Anyways it was a bit to get used to when reading the book. But I liked it in a way because its a script it was alot faster to read which is a plus side. Problem with that is not being able to see truly the reasoning behind many of the choices that were made, that whole depth to the characters that I would've liked to have was not there. Which led me to hate Albus's character. I also didn't like the adult versions of Harry Potter and other characters, although I did like that Draco was at least civil in the future. 

I can honestly say I dislike... well hated Albus. I know someone is probably going to speak other wise but he was a total utter brat with a serious case of Middle-Child-Syndrome. Yea, hes getting second hand fame cause of his father but its not like his father chosen what happened to him. Its not even like his father can help the second hand fame that his son is getting, he just has to learn to deal with what he got and get over it. I disliked how he treated his best friend Scorpius. When it came to this book I had a hard time sticking to it, I truly disliked Albus's character. 

Then when it came to Scorpius POV I just couldn't put it down I enjoyed his character and how he looked on the bright side. Like Albus hes getting second hand fame-An unpopular one but still is able to be be nice and kind. I loved his character he was a bit of sunshine in the book.

I loved thought how everything turned out in the book was unexpected and interesting. (Didn't want to spoil the book too much) I loved the whole - Yikes ok so it's kinda hard to say without again spoiling the book.

If you read the book what was your favorite part? Did you like how Harry and the rest of the gang turned out because I didn't like how they were in the future. I feel like things that were said in the book would've never happened that way. If you decide to say spoilers be sure to say so that way other readers/commenters can skip over.
