Synopsis:

For fans who loved the snarky wit of Will & Grace and the epic love drama found in Brokeback Mountain comes Avery Aster's new full-length, standalone contemporary erotic M/M romance novel, Unsaid.

Chelsea’s hottie Blake Morgan III has reemerged from a nasty breakup. His marriage was a frigid disaster beyond repair, and he vows to be single—forever. Bruised, but still hot in Prada, he creates his Seven Desires wish list, his sexiest imaginings. Blake soon realizes there’s only one man he may trust to make these uninhibited intentions come to fruition: his best friend Miguel Santana.

Lower East Side multimedia artist extraordinaire Miguel Santana may be known as the cocky Latin stud in the city, but all he’s wanted since college was Blake’s hand in marriage. He was livid when Blake walked down the aisle with the wrong guy. Miguel has his own list titled the Seven Needs, which are quite contrary to Blake’s dirty-boy deeds. They involve serious commitments, which may leave his new-to-the-singles-scene buddy sprinting for the door, destroying any hopes Miguel has for happiness.

Can these two hunks conquer their intimate fears and love one another as only best friends can? Join the star-studded cast in The Manhattanites series and see for yourself!

My Thoughts:

Blake just came out of a bad relationship with his ex husband and isn't looking to jump right into things. Instead his besties convince him to make a list of thing to do in the sack that he wasn't able to get while being married. A few of his fantasy's to experience while he's free to do as he please. Little did he expect was that one of his long time friends, Miguel would step up to the plate when it was all meant as a joke. Turns out Miguel as a list of his own and is basicly if you scratch my back ill scratch yours in helping eachother out. But the thing is emotions always get the best of some peoples and Blake isn't sure hes ready.

Meanwhile Liv is having to deal with the stressing of being mommy and a CEO of the company and managing her wedding. Things become even more stressful when she finds out that one of her besties could be more then just that.

So with that being said this isn't only about Blake...in case you were wondering. I loved getting that side point of view. Thing is was that it seemed like there was just two different stories getting put together in a book. To me personally I think it should've been separated into two different books. Because really it was just that, Blake story was different from Liv's issue.

Overall this was a great addition getting to know more about Blake and Miguel's story, I've pretty much read all of the books before and after which each of the manhattanites and all of the books are great, steamy and funny. I liked getting to see Blake and Miguel's relationship. I loved how different thier relationship was and who equally different their pasts are. Miguel was known for getting around meanwhile he was a closet gay to his parents, Blake isn't and is sure of himself.

Although this book is the third book and a standalone with a glossary to the characters I would recommend you readers out there who are interesting to check out the previous books, it'll help you love this book all the more.

4.5 of 5 stars!
