Lila and Ethan : Forever and Always by Jessica Sorensen
Genre: Contemporary, Romance, New Adult
Goodreads:From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Ella and Micha series comes a story of love, risks, and rewards . . .
Lila Summers just wants to know one thing for certain: that Ethan Gregory will be with her always. Once her friend, he's become so much more, melting the pain of her past away with each kiss. Now Lila is on a road trip with Ethan, in the wilderness under the stars, and she can't imagine her life without him. But when she talks about the future, something in Ethan changes . . .
Ethan has no doubts about his feelings for Lila. His life with her gets better every day-and that's the scary part. How can he walk into a future where he has everything to lose? With Lila, his whole heart is on the line for the very first time. But if Ethan can't give her the promise she needs, his greatest fear might come true: he'll lose Lila for good.
My Thoughts:After going on a road trip Ethan lets Lila know that he's to his mother's for a party. Lila was unaware of the party, being told last minute and him not inviting her along leaves Lila questioning the long haul of their relationship.
So this was just a little novella, a tiny glimpse of one of the bumps in the road that Lila and Ethan are going through. Even if I enjoy it, the book seemed pointless. What I did like about this book was knowing a little more about their relationship. I think when it comes their relationship I think that Lila was a little too... idk... I mean I feel like if you've been with a guy for a month then isnt it a little too early to be thinking about the future and marriage? I don't really date much so maybe its just me that thinks this way? It was still a nice little steamy read the pass the time. 4 of 5 stars.
