Blurb:

It’s been twenty three days since Quinn has slept for more than minutes at a time. Demons have invaded her dreams, stalking her, and whispering of her death. The lack of sleep and crippling fear are ruining her life. Energy drinks and caffeine pills don’t make a dent. When Quinn dozes off in the school hallway, Aaron, an amnesiac with a psychic ability, accidentally enters her nightmare. The demons are determined to keep them apart, and Aaron from discovering the secret locked away in his memory. Together, they could banish the darkness back to the underworld for good. That is, unless the demons kill them first.

My Thoughts:

"Life is never easy, not for you, not for anyone. But you can choose."
Quinn was on top of the word head cheerleader with a great popular boyfriend, soon as her father lead the nightmares began. One by one she started to loose everything she held dear her grades dropped, lost her spot as cheerleading captain, and her boyfriend broke up with her without a word. The nightmares are getting worse and she refuses to sleep. After an accident that lead to the death of his mother and younger sister, Aaron just hasn't been the same. It doesn't help that he has amnesia that leaves him feeling disconnected and unfeeling towards the ones he had lost. Aaron as been pinning over Quinn and doesnt understand his pull towards her even after all shes done to him. Quinn leaves Aaron feeling crazy but he just can help but want to help her when she needs it.

When I signed up for this book to do the review, it was the cover that drawn me in. I thought the cover was beautifully done, but had a hard time thinking of where this cover would associate with the book. I suppose it could be towards the ending...

Being that I hadn't read the description and chose the book based on the cover it was a pleasant surprise when I was reading the book. Quinn I found kind of annoying, why would she keep wanting to be with her ex after knowing he cheated on her, she doesn't know a good thing if it smacked her in the face. But then again it didn't help that the nightmares and the demons that are haunted her was affecting her judgements. She should've known nothing can turn good if she listens to them, she should've thought if it seems too good to be true that maybe just maybe it is. I liked Aaron he was caring but stupid and when Quinn was pushing away from him he should've just gotten the hint and just stood away. But then again towards the ending I can understand why he was the way he was. It was quite interesting twist towards the end and unexpected. I liked that there was an interesting take in putting Azrael in the mix of the book.

The last page I had to read twice....Well actually my kindle had to read it to me twice because I thought I had missed something. I was trying to figure out whether I had missed something, the ending of the book was nothing like I had expected and I wanted more. So at the ending of the book I rushed onto goodreads to see if there was another book and yes, there is another book to this. I look forwards to seeing what the author writes next. Now here's the sucky part, waiting for the next book >_<.

Overall I enjoyed this book and recommend you lovely readers to check it out.
