Can two K-9s and their handlers

rescue a kidnapped child in the snowy wilderness?

When a young boy is abducted from a Rocky Mountain ski resort, Lily Alton and her K-9 join a dangerous search-and-rescue mission. Ski patrol captain Scott Linden doesn’t think Lily is ready to become part of his elite team. But as they battle the elements together, Lily shows incredible strength under fire…and an unlikely attraction blooms. With their survival skills put to the test, Scott and Lily track a killer through treacherous terrain in a frantic race to find the missing child before it’s too late.

Lily and her K-9 are the new guys joining the search and rescue team and when a kid she babysits for goes missing possibly kidnapped she will do everything she can to find them. Scott Linden is the ski Patrol Captain and is her boss he's not the easiest person to get along with but he knows his stuff. So now Scott Linden and his team go searching for this child knowing that it there is a high probability that that child is done for but Lily believes that she can find this child with or without his help.

I really enjoyed this book I loved seeing how lily had so much faith in herself and her dog. She wasn't one to let things get her down and she was going to do everything she can to find that child. Meanwhile Scott knows the outcome and considering it's a child he didn't have much faith in what he would find so he was a little standoffish but then you got Lily who was really outgoing and was really kind of pushing through that barrier he was putting up and refuse to back down even if she had to go alone. I liked that Scott was able to rein her in at certain times when she was pushing too hard where it could hurt her or her canine and she is still new to this search and rescue situation that he needed to keep her grounded. I liked the chemistry between the two and overall I was a really good book I enjoyed seeing how everything worked out.
