Until two little hearts take over this holiday season…
After the loss of her sister, Kylee Spokes plans to take custody of her orphaned niece and nephew and return to the big city by Christmas. Except corralling four-year-old twins is much harder than the businesswoman expects. And small-town paramedic Evan Hollister refuses to abandon his godchildren to someone who has no experience with kids—and can’t even boil water! Now these opposites must find a way to temporarily co-parent together. As grudging respect turns into something more, can they find a permanent solution…that lasts past the holidays?
Kylee is still reeling from the loss of her sister and now has to take responsibility for her niece and nephew and plans on taking them to the big city with her. She never expected Evan The Godfather to the kids to already be there taking care of them. Now they are working together to co-parent until something solid can be figured out by Christmas.
Kylee is clearly out of her depth when it comes to taking care of the kids and it was interesting seeing how she was really trying her best. Then there was Evan who has been there and knows how to keep the kids life as normal as possible and it was nice seeing how he was able to do that for the children but Kylee has other plans when it comes to the kids. I really enjoyed seeing the banter between the two and seeing how they tried their best to work together or either butted heads. It was over all the pretty good book I really enjoyed it.
