Review : Ozarks Witness Protection

Ozarks Witness Protection by Maggie Wells

The only thing between her and a murderer
Is the special agent assigned to keep her safe

Targeted by her husband’s killer, injured and pregnant widow Kayla Powers needs a protection plan—pronto. But 24/7 bodyguard detail challenges Special Agent Ryan Hastings’s security skills…and professional boundaries. The determined heiress will do anything to neutralize the threat to her unborn child, even offer herself as bait. But will her plan to step out of the shadows jeopardize Ryan’s mission and his heart?
Kayla's late husbands killer seems to be after her and needs some protection. Special Agent Ryan is on the job to being her body guard until the killer is found.

This was a pretty good book I really enjoyed it. There was so many close calls to keep any readers interested. Then there was the characters which I really liked getting to know, I mean Kayla was a pretty head strong women who was the type to not back down and not want help until she really had no choice. Now she's got a child on the line and will do everything she can to stay protected and find that person who is behind this and find out why. Then there was the bit of attraction simmering between the two which I enjoyed. There was plenty of close calls and unexpected things happening that kept me on my toes and hooked till the every end. Overall great book I enjoyed it.
