Is the man she married
not the man she thought he was?

Unable to stand the stress of being a firefighter’s wife, ER nurse Willow Garrison asks her husband to leave. Not long after, however, she realizes she's carrying his child! When his reputation and life are in danger, she lets Luke back into her life. But just who wants to destroy him? Guilty and suspicious, Willow admits her lingering feelings. Can she trust the hotshot to prove his innocence and keep them safe?

Willow is a ER nurse who just can't take the stress of having a firefighter as a husband and asks him to leave. She never expected to find herself pregnant after and witness him having a few close calls. Now its a matter of staying safe as they figure out who might be after him and why.

I love a good mystery and this book was just nonstop with the action I just couldn't put the book down. When things started to look calm enough to look into things something was happening. It was interesting seeing the lengths the person after them or him and how it would turn out. Everyone seems suspicious. Oh and before I forgot it was a bit confusing in the beginning though I feel like I fell into the middle of something when I started this book. I didn't realize at this was a apart of a series and while this book did a good job as a stand alone I really feel that a lot of the beginning confusion would've been fixed had I read the previous books. Which also leads me to saying with how this book turned out I'll defiantly be looking towards reading the previous books because if this is how the recent book turned out I'm gonna have to check it out. Overall great book highly recommend!
