Review : The Ranchers Baby

The Ranchers Baby By Maisey Yates

Genre  : Contemporary, Romance,
Goodreads : Click
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ and a half stars
She’s having her best friend’s baby… Only from New York Timesbestselling author Maisey Yates!

When a torrid, possibly dangerous scandal comes to Royal, Texas, Selena Jacobs is nearly caught in the middle. Until her best friend Knox McCoy ensures her safety—by moving in! Selena has loved Knox for years, but she’s never had the courage to tell him. Now the sparks she’s tried to smother burn out of control…and leave her pregnant. But with the pain in his past, will Knox finally take a chance on love…with her?

So here is the thing, I think the title and description to the book is misleading (Not sure if that is the right word). She doesn't even get preggo until your like 80% into the book and ends up making the title and description more like a spoiler more then anything. Overall I really enjoyed this book, its just what I look for in a enjoyable romance. I love  romances where the couple starts off as friends it makes the relationship that develops in the future so much more better (or at least that's my opinion). I loved getting to learn about these characters and learning what they previous went though, and what eventually lead up to what was going on in the book. Another thing that was kinda off putting to me though was when it came to that beginning and now Knox ended up staying with her to keep her "safe" it lead me to believe that it was going to end up as a mystery book but nothing happened with it, it was a strange situation that happened in the book but the way Knox treated it I thought was over kill. Overall the book was pretty good and I really enjoyed it.
