After the death of her best friend and her friends husband, Emma is left to pick up the pieces and is now caring for their orphaned daughter. Its been a year since then, christmas eve, its a hard time but the lives through it. Jack her bestfriends husbands twin brother, jetted after thier death leaving his only living relative, his niece with Emma. Now hes back in town to be there for his niece this time.

This was a sweet heartwarming book getting to see a year after how Emma was dealing with everything, and seeing how she raised the child. Then theres Jack who up out of no where manages to find himself meeting up Emma in the unlikely place. I think it was interesting getting to know Jack as a character, seeing his past and why he is the way he is now. It was sweet getting to see how things played out and seeing how they dealt with certain situations. Overall a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.
