Wyatt Armstrong never imagined that instead of celebrating his college graduation, he and his twin sister would be dealing with the death of their parents. Then again, Wyatt had never been one to think past tomorrow. He heads to their summer home in Harborside, Massachusetts, with his best friend Cassidy Lowell in tow, to deal with his parents’ death and to try to figure out his next step.

Six foot two, infuriatingly handsome, and flirtatious, Wyatt Armstrong has always been there for Cassidy, helping her pass her classes and fend off unwanted advances, while driving her insane with his one-night stands—but that’s what best friends are for, isn’t it? Having each other’s backs. There was never any doubt that she would accompany him to his family’s summer home—but she never expected to begin seeing Wyatt as more than a friend. Or has she been ignoring her feelings all along?

It’s impossible to ignore the sizzling heat between them as Wyatt and Cassidy get even closer, but Cassidy knows Wyatt’s past, and she has a real job to begin in the fall. Wyatt may be a sure thing for the summer, but Cassidy needs more. For the first time in his life, Wyatt is forced to look toward the future if he doesn’t want to lose the one woman who’s shared his past and owns his heart.

Cassidy and Wyatt has been friends for as long as they can remember. Suddenly Cassidy boyfriend is caught cheating and another tragedy strikes and that ends up leaving these two besties seeking comfort, obviously not only the friend type of comfort. Wyatt, Delilah and Cassidy head to his parents summer home. Its there that the boundaries of friendship are tests, they learn to who they are, and whats important.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved getting to see Cassidy and Wyatt develop and change to learn whats more important in life. I hated Cassidy's parents obviously, I loved that Wyatt's family was there to help fill that void that her parents left. I loved seeing the heat between the two and just a warning there are steamy scenes in the book. I loved that there was the dual point of view to help me get a better understanding of what the two where thinking. There was plenty going on to keep me hooked and I really loved this book. Can't wait to see whats in store for Delilah, she seems like an really interesting character, she was very conflicted and I'm curious how her story will go.

LGBT New Adult
DISCOVERING DELILAH is an New Adult Lesbian Romance (#LGBT)

After the death of her parents on the day of her college graduation, Delilah Armstrong thought she could finally follow her heart and come out to her closest friends, but the guilt of going against her parents’ beliefs haunts her. The feelings she has for her best friend, Ashley, are stronger than anything she’s felt before, but Delilah has never even kissed a girl, and fear stops her at every turn.

Ashley Carver promised herself that she would never again date another girl who wasn’t out, but that was before she met intoxicatingly sweet and sexy Delilah.

When another girl offers to teach Delilah the ropes, it changes Delilah’s whole world and gives her the courage to go after the only girl she really wants. But coming out isn’t as easy as Delilah imagined, and moving past her parents’ death and the feelings of guilt she is left with is even harder. The intense passion between Ashley and Delilah is too strong to deny, but coming together means risking everything.

Discovering Delilah is an edgy, evocative, romantic story of friendship, family, and the courage to love.

Delilah grew up in her home knowing gay is bad and wrong. Meanwhile in the outside world she knew it wasn't much of a big deal any more. There is a lgbt community out there. Get over it. Thing is Delilah is lesbian and grew up believing in her heart it was right but her head it was wrong. Now after her parents death and seeing their reaction before it happened crushed her. Shes got to learn to deal with her self hate and see if she got a chance with her friend Ashley who shes been crushing on.

I thought this was a unique and interesting perspective. Normally when I really any book with LGBT topic, they are usually confident very much like Ashley. I didn't like the self hate that she was going through but it was good to see her eventually gain the confidence.

Delilah didn't have the adult figure to teach her it was okay and learned to question herself, her judgement and everything she did and eventually learned to get over it. Overall I really enjoyed this book. I loved the character and loved that there was a dual point of view of Delilah and Ashley. I loved how supportive her friends were when they got the news of her coming out. Story line was interesting. If you love steamy books then this is for you. Overall a great story.

And don't miss Tempting Tristan...
