Review : Master Over You

Cerys's Top 10 Book Boyfriends!

(These are in no particular order)

1 ~ Lucent Storme (The Billionaire's Paradigm)
I think maybe this is cheating, because he's one of my characters, but I really like him.

2 ~ Q (Tears of Tess)
Q is maybe a guilty pleasure. I don't think he'd be good for me.

3 ~ Lucien Knight (Knight & Play)
Well, I really don't know why I liked him so much. There were parts that I didn't like, but overall I really liked Lucien and I thought he was mysterious. I haven't read the rest of the books yet, though.

4 ~ Eliot Herceg (Me, Cinderella?)
This entire book was just like poetry to me. I loved all of it. Eliot wasn't exactly a typical romance hero, but that's what I liked about him, too.

5 ~ Aiden (Barefoot Kisses)
Aiden was so amazing! I really liked him a lot. Dominant and sexy, but smooth and supportive, too.

6 ~ Westley (The Princess Bride)
This is maybe a silly one, but I love Westley. He's a pirate who will do anything to fight for true love! I think that's really sexy. I mean, he wasn't always a pirate, and I think he'd be sexy even if he wasn't a pirate, but the pirate thing is pretty sexy, too, you know?

7 ~ Carter (Watch Me Fall)
I read this one recently and I loved it. Carter is a tortured hero, but in all the right ways. I liked him.

8 ~ Nick (Uncover Me)
Nick is also sort of a pirate, so he gets bonus points for that. He's very mysterious and charismatic, but kind of a rake, too. You've got to be careful of those bad boys...

9 ~ Christian Grey (Fifty Shades of Grey)
So I didn't want to put Christian Grey on this list at first, because I think maybe it's cliché now, except I really like him, haha. There's just something about him. When I finished the trilogy and there was that small part from Christian's point of view, I was sort of hoping maybe E.L. James would write three more books that were the exact same thing, but from his point of view. I would read them.

10 ~ Ashe (Symphony of Ages books)
This one is a little different, but I really liked him. Also, I forget what book it was in, but he had this water magic thing which he used for like... sexy bathtime fun. That was the best steamy scene ever, haha. I would not be opposed to having sexy bathtime fun with someone who had water magic.

There’s a monster in every closet, and I’m in yours
My name is Noah. I’m not a nice person. This isn’t cupcakes and candyland, love.

I’ll take you, break you, and offer you to the highest bidder without a second thought. You’re mine now. It’s business, nothing personal. You wouldn’t understand, and I’m not going to explain it. Sorry, love, you don’t mean a thing to me.

Just know that there’s a monster in every closet, and I’m in yours.

There is a light at the end of every dark tunnel, no matter how dim it may seem.

Author Note – This dark romance novel contains themes that may be discomforting to some people. If you are sensitive to depictions of violence, then this book is not recommended for you.

Man’s POV = Ethan, Woman’s POV = Cerys

Review:

I found this book very interesting and disturbing. This is one of those types of books that'll suck you up and you won't be able to put it down till the very end. This book was very well written, the storyline was great. I loved that there was a collaboration between the authors writing different pov's. Overall this was dark and emotional and I really enjoyed it. This book has very disturbing themes in it so it's not for everyone and those brave enough to check it out will enjoy this book.

Ethan

Ethan is a gentleman, an author, a lover, and occasionally a rake, a cad, and a dom, but only if you've been good (punishing good girls is more entertaining than punishing the naughty ones). He lives in the Greater Boston area in a small town in New Hampshire where he grew up.

He has a penchant for exploring and traveling, with a passion for the unique and interesting. His interests include reading, exercising, laying on the beach, spanking (good girls), romancing, smiling, going for walks that lead to nowhere, hiking, bondage, and one day he would love to travel to Alaska.

His writing delves into the human experience, with a preference towards a psychological thriller twist. He loves mystery, dark romance, and suspense. While some of his writing may be twisted, he believes in romantic true love, above all things. His books include raw, real emotions, good and bad. He believes there is a light at the end of every dark tunnel, and his writing hopes to encompass that.

He loves happy endings, kissing, and a focus on the ordinary turned extraordinary.
