Lifelong best friends James Laird and Lola Caraway are reunited when Lola moves to LA after college. Lola is starting her new life, new job, and a new romance with a successful lawyer--a relationship which forces James to question the nature of his feelings for Lola.

Meanwhile James' agent has him making BDSM films, though to him it's all an act. Unfortunately, these films have brought him the attention of hardcore producer Eva Satana, who wants James to be a ruthless Dominant -for real- in her brutal and extreme scenes. James soon finds himself caught in a contract he cannot break and compelled by threats to the girl who's stood by him through everything.

James can't stand the thought of anyone else with his sweet, virginal best friend. But they are just friends...aren't they? Can their friendship survive so much desire and deception?

Their decisions will decide who will be free and who will be CAPTURED.

This book picks up after Lola graduates from college and James is still working in the porn industry. James and Lola are still friends and managed to get passed the sexual chemistry from the first book and remain friends. Now Lola is getting into dating and James now is roped into some sleazy deal made by his boss and Eva a women known for his hardcore BDSM. James isn't into it but how Eva has managed to find out about Lola and her being a virgin so she makes James make some hard choices.

Just wow, this book really blew me away. I loved this book. This book had a great story line and enough steamy sences to keep the reader wanting the more. I loved the relationship between Lola and James. I hated what James had to do at the hands of his sleazy hands of his boss and Eva. Lova is sweet and innocent and I loved that she was a women who knows how to use her brain. I loved that there was so much suspense when it came to the Eva issue, I kept wondering if and when she was going to do something to ruin James and Lola's friendship / relationship. I loved how the ending turned out no loose ends or anything. It was a great ending to a great story.

Now what I'm kinda wondering what was up with Savanna/Stacey. I know a bit about what happened in her past but I'm kind of wondering where shes going after all this. I liked her character I liked that she was slowly able to live again... never know maybe Eva did have people on the side and they are probably angry that Eva is down or the moment and want to take some action on those who brought her down? Hey it's my blog I'm allowed to be curious and express my ideas :-) .

So I blanked that out because I thought it was a spoiler of sorts so If you want to read that its at your own risk. Just highlight it to see.

Anyways I loved this book and just wow I highly recommend you lovely readers check out this book. 5 of 5 stars!

“Honestly, I just don’t think I’d ever want to spice it up like that.” My voice has taken on a timid edge, and I realize that all the guys are staring at me. “I just always envision someone being gentle with me. I want something loving and intimate. I think I’d freak out if somebody came at me with handcuffs or a butt plug.” I can’t help but giggle on the last part of the sentence, not even able to describe the tools of the trade without blushing.

“Shit, I think I’d freak out if someone came at you with handcuffs or a butt plug! I’d beat the shit out of somebody if they ever tried that shit with you!” James says as he puts the finishing touches on his homemade guacamole. “You deserve gentle. You deserve to have your first time be sweet and intimate. You should have something perfect, you know?”

I notice Chad and Alejandro giving each other knowing looks.

“I picture something romantic for you—like in front of a fireplace, or maybe on some big bed with a canopy and candles all around the room,” he continues.

“I think you’ve thought about this even more than I have,” I tease, trying to hide how much I appreciate his ideal scenario. “All I’m saying is I think it should be beautiful for you,” he says dismissively, turning back to the food and obviously trying to avoid eye contact with me.

Chad and Alejandro both glance at me, giving me subtle, almost pleading looks, but I’m not quite sure how to read their reactions.

Book One : Vice, Virtue, and Video

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed this book. I loved all the characters. I loved Lola's and James playful, sweet and steamy relationship. The steamy scenes were great. This story was well written.  Oh and with an ending like that you'll want to see what happens next with these two. Its not a cliffhanger but with how this book turned out I can't wait to see whats next for these two. First I must check out the previous books to this which I just noticed is out.

With how much I enjoyed this book is it any surprise that I would rate this book 4.5 of 5 stars?
