My Thoughts:

A fantastic book like this deserve 5 stars. What I loved about this book is that it had a great mix of everything. What I've notice many times with New Adult novels is that they tend to overdo with the sex scenes, then there's the drama is just way out there, and the whole instant connection I'd die for you kind of relationships. This book was nothing like that. What I'm trying to say is that there was a perfect mix with the story-line, steamy scenes, and drama. I thought that this book was well written and interesting. I liked that it was fast paced and it was so good I managed to finish the book within 3 hours. There was many things going on to keep the readers hooked. The characters were interesting and I thought that Elle was a character that many college girls can relate to, other then the whole terrorist and CIA things... Overall I loved this book and I highly recommend you lovely readers to check out this book!

Missy Marciassa loved getting lost in novels from the time she could read, so it’s no surprise she wanted to write. Her very first “novels” were re-writing the books she read to get the endings she wanted in second grade. Missy continued to read and write through grade school and high school.

After becoming rather disillusioned with fiction after writing literary criticism as an English major in college, however, Missy focused on her enjoyment of learning about people and studied psychology. Reading fiction fell to the wayside with all the reading and writing required for college and graduate school, but once Missy became a doctoral candidate, she rediscovered her love of fiction. Then she started getting the urge to write, an urge that wouldn’t go away (she refuses to diagnose it as a compulsion). Covert Assignment is the end result of that urge.
