Synopsis:

Kelsey Edmundson is a geek and proud of it. She makes no secret of her love for TV, movies, and, most especially, books. After a bad breakup, she retreats into her favorite novel, Pride and Prejudice, wishing she had some of the wit and spirit of Elizabeth Bennett.

One night at a party Kelsey meets handsome Australian bartender Mark Barnes. From then on, she always seems to run into him when she least expects it. No matter how Kelsey tries, she always seems to say the wrong thing.

After a particularly gaffe-filled evening around Mark, Kelsey is in desperate need of inspiration from Jane Austen. She falls asleep reading Darcy’s letter to Lizzy and awakens to find herself in an unfamiliar place that looks and sounds suspiciously like her favorite book. Has she somehow been transported into Pride and Prejudice, or is it just a dream?

As Kelsey tries to discover what’s happening to her, she must also discover her own heart. Is Mark Barnes destined to be her Mr. Darcy? In the end, she must decide whether attempting to become Elizabeth is worth the risk or if being Kelsey Edmundson is enough.

My Thoughts:
It is no secret that Kelsey is is obsessed with Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice. After her last boyfriend broke her heart she seemed to stink further into her obsession that pretty much affected the way she viewed guys. She wanted to find her Mr. Darcy in a world of Mr. Wickham's. Kelsey's friend managed to get her to get out of the house and managed to see Mark, a guy she can't seem to act normal around. Shes extremely awkward and managed to say the wrong thing around him. One night Kelsey was reading Pride and Prejudice and found herself waking up as a character in the novel. Kelsey manages to find a way to escape into her favorite novel and come back to her real world.

I'm a fan of Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice and was happy to find out this book was related to it. I find myself loving any book that seemes to connect to it, as if the book never end you find different possibilities other then what Ms.Austen wrote. This book reminded me of one of my favorite movies Lost In Austen where the main character is obsessed with the book and loves everything and manages to find herself stuck in the books where the characters exists. I loved how this book was similar to it and I loved how this shows another possibility to the book as well as what many Pride and Prejudice fans think of. If you could be a character to your favorite book who would it be? But the main character had a hard choice of choosing where she wanted to be in the end. There is a lot I would love to say about this book and the characters and such but I'm afraid I'll spoil the book. Just take my word that this book was fantastic, unique and I loved it. I loved the characters, I loved how this book wasn't predictable. I loved that I was able to get sucked up in this book like Kelsey was able to do with her favorite book. I liked that Kelsey is someone a lot of readers can relate to.

Overall I loved this book and Highly Recommend you lovely readers to check it out. 5 of 5 stars!
