Synopsis:
Summonari don’t trust. Under their command, they summon any number of creatures from the Otherwolds—but never trust them outside of the summoning.Gargoyles don’t love. Fierce descendants of dragons, they function on power and fear—never love.
Karla isn’t the happily-ever-after type of girl. No territory-hungry guy is going to stick flags all over her unclaimed grounds.
Kann’s world is death and betrayal. As Dar Primus of Haus Varis, he’s expected to follow tradition but he’s not your regular gargoyle. In fact, he’s anything but.
One fateful Friday night, Otherworlds collide. Stuck together in one world or another, Karla and Kann face everything from Awakenings and turbulent love to Festnavals and bloodthirsty scorned suitors.
If there’s one thing they can’t escape, it’s the addiction to each other. And they’ve got it bad.

My Thoughts:
Karla is a down to earth kind of girl who is pretty much addicted to books. When her favorite character seems to come to life she cant believe her eyes. Not only does her favorite book character exist but he claims that he has summoned her and the only way for him to go away is for her to get rid of him using her summoning powers. Karla and Kann instantly have a connection with each other and Kann had sealed the deal by mating with her. No one among the supernatural word is a fan of the gargoyles because they can be ruthless and the shifters find out Kann is in the area they try to run him out of town. Now in the world where Gargoyles live Karla has to learn what its like to live there or get herself killed.
"I had a childish crush on the version of him from the books I'd read. But having a crush on a book character was easy; dealing with the real creature was an entirely different ballgame."
What I loved about this book was how unique it was. I've never read a book that had gargoyle's side of the supernatural world. If I would've know that there was going to be some mention of dragons I probably would've put the book down. I'm not a fan of anything dragon related. I kept up to this book because I was already sucked in to this book and a little thing like dragons couldn't make me put this book down. Plus I previously read another book by the author Blitzkrieg Love and I enjoyed it and knew that I couldn't be disappointed. I loved the characters and the connection between Karla and Kann. I like how sarcastic and funny and down to earth Karla was.
Livia lives in Europe where she listens to obscene amounts of music and devours every reading material in sight. When she’s not doing either of the two, she fiddles with anything remotely customizable within reach.
