Should some secrets remain buried?
Dusty has always been a hothead, far more impulsive than her twin, Nick, the calm, cool and collected one of the pair. But Nick is dead, found murdered in their local cemetery, and Dusty simply can’t rest until she finds out who–or what–has killed her brother.
Sure the local authorities aren’t being straight with her–or anyone else–about what’s been going on in their little upper Michigan town, Dusty delays going off to college for a semester, defying her father and stepmother and taking a job in the local bar to start doing some digging.
Her focus soon fixes on Shane, her brother’s best friend and the town bad boy. The tension and rivalry between Dusty and Shane has always been palpable and sparks fly as the two collide. Dusty finds herself sinking in deeper with Shane and the mystery of what happened to her brother–and a lengthening list of victims–grows even stranger.
When everything comes to a head, Dusty focuses on one thing: What happened the night her brother was killed in the cemetery? She’s sure Shane is keeping a secret and she’s determined to find out what it is, one way or another.

My Thoughts:
Dusty was supposed to be heading to college, but when the death of her twin brother occurs things start to change and secrets start to unravel. Everyone i always loved Nick, he was the good on, Dusty was the problem child. On the funeral things start to change between the hateful relationship between Dusty and her brothers best friend Shane. Dusty just can't help but think that things don't add up when it comes to Shane and what had happened to her brother. When she asks Nicks friends everyone seems to be weirded out and shes knows they are lying to her and is hiding something big and she wants to know what their secret is.

What I loved about this book was that this book was not at all what I had expected. I mean from the description it sounded like every other typical contemporary romance books that I read. The problems that usually happens is some cheats, or gets hit or some kind of secret past or pushing one another away because they are broken and dying inside *Eyes roll*. This book isnt one of those books. Don't get me wrong I like those books anyways but this book was a breath of fresh air. This book does has a secret thats hidden but its not one you might expect I certainly hadn't expected the secrets that were revealed. I thought I already knew what the book was about and that it was too predictable but still thought I'd give it a try. I was surprised at the turn of events when things started to get revealed. I loved how this book wasn't predictable. I loved the connection between the two. I loved the characters. I loved how well written this book was. I loved that once I started this book I just couldn't put it down. My favorite part was the descriptive imagery which really got me stuck to the book making it seem like a movie in my head rather than a written book.
Overall I loved this unique contemporary romance and think you readers would love it too. Highly Recommend.
