The police detective Campbell is ahead of this case and it almost seems as if it could be the same case as father at work when it happened. There is a nearby cult that people have their eyes on currently and in the past when it came to this case and they need to figure out who could really be behind it before they try again.
I really enjoyed this book. I was very curious on when the past and present would meet and seeing who the perpetrator was and why they did what they did. Being that the person was a local I was very curious how they got away with what they did. So now that it's clear that the Killer is still in fact alive or that there may be a copycat it was interesting seeing how everything was settled and played out I really enjoyed it kept me hooked till the very end.
