Natalie appears to be having a rough Christmas when her daughter Clem decides to invite her father who is Natalie's ex that she has not seen for 22 years. While they have to learn to deal with each other for the sake of their daughter and future granddaughter during this holiday season they realize the sparks are never really went out.
If you like second chances of romance you'll like this one it was a very slow read for me personally but it's good for this season having a bit of some semblance of slow considering how fast this season is going. I like second chances of romance and seeing how they they had to work with each other and really face the past and figure out the future considering they are now going to become grandparents. It was interesting seeing what had separated them and seeing how they were able to work through misunderstandings and it was overall a pretty good book. Definitely would recommend right about now because it is the holiday season and this book does take place during that overall really good book.
