Dangerous Affair by Sandra Owens
Genre: romantic suspenseGoodreads: ClickPages: 268Published: August 26, 2025Protecting her is his mission.Failure is unacceptable.
World-traveling photojournalist Quinn Sullivan is stopped in her tracks when a kidnapper holds her captive in a mountain cabin. Could it be related to the damning evidence she has about a company’s illegal tactics that are harming a town? To her rescue comes former marine ranger Liam O’Rourke. His assignment as a bodyguard keeps him close to Quinn, protecting her from ongoing threats. Much to his frustration, Quinn does flings, not relationships; she believes men can’t handle her career. But the shared danger of exposing a conspiracy may change their romantic boundaries.
From the moment you step into this book you are thrown right into the middle of an kidnapping situation and from there things only get all the more confusing. Quinn is a photojournalist who was kidnapped for accidentally grabbing information she should not have and Marine Ranger Liam at the request of Quinn's father was asked to help her out now they're in the middle of something bigger than they could have ever expected. I just really enjoyed this book there was just so much going on. There was never a dull moment when it came to this book and it was really fast pace which I really appreciate. This is apparently a book two and with how this book came out I'm definitely going to have to catch up with the first one. Highly recommend.
