While I thought this book was pretty enjoyable I did find it a bit slow paced. To be fair that could be a methane considering I've been reading a lot of action pack book with so much going on that this seems very slow to me. I did enjoy getting to know the characters. I can really see why Kaylin was so fiercely independent and how this being married thing was causing her to struggle a bit. Especially when it comes to her family and upbringing and her time in the foster care system. Meanwhile Ethan reveled in the idea of being married and wanted to be able to take care of Kaylin well meaning but didn't think beyond but he kind of wanted into it. He really wanted to lock her down give her everything she wants say I love you and that was it when there's more to things then that. Overall this is a pretty good book I really enjoyed it and curious about the other books since this was a part of a series.
