But this case will test even the toughest heart.
Military contractor Cash Meyers and his Rottweiler, Bear, show up in time to save Elena Navarro from being abducted by a drug cartel. But they’re too late to protect her little brother. Rescuing the boy means confronting a criminal who will sacrifice anything—and anyone—to claim Elena. Cash’s instincts are battle honed, but will his intense attraction to Elena put them both in danger? This book was a trip that was so much action around every corner. I enjoyed seeing how this action-packed fast-paced book went. I liked getting to know the characters and I love the strength in Elena. She was smart, resourceful, loyal and very strong-willed. She was willing to do everything and anything she could to find her brother and to help keep her family safe. There was so many twists and turns and at some point it was very hard to tell who was to trust. Cash is a military contractor who helped Elena get away and he has his own demons to deal with. Like these people were really willing to sacrifice everything and it was interesting seeing how everything played out I mean there's so much going on. Overall a really great read.
