Annie comes across some damning evidence that make her look bad and decides to go home. Its when she's back home that her life is threatened and Jonah can't help but want to help her out. Problem is she and his family have a long feud going on that makes it clear that they shouldn't be even near eachother but will stick around until the issue is handled.
I really enjoyed this book, it was kinda slow going at first but then again I'm used to stories like this with the whole mystery and threats to be so action backed theres barely any time to breathe. But this was a pretty good paced. Then there was the family feud going on which made is clear they shouldn't be around eachother but Annie needed help and Jonah and his family set aside differences and provided. It was so nice seeing how supportive they were. Then it came down to the whole mystery of why she came back home and her being framed by something she didn't do. I was curious to see how things would eventually be handled once it came down to it. I did like the romance between the two, I'm a sucker for the whole forbidden romance thing even if it was accepted pretty quickly but it was still really enjoyable. Overall pretty great book I enjoyed it.
