Holden's son is leaving for college soon so before that happens he's taking his son for a road trip. He never expected for his ex Bernadette to show pregnant with his child. Joining on the boys trip theres a lot that's about to get out in the open decisions to be made and possibly romance.
I think I've gotten quite comfortable with my action packed fast paced reads that this book was a bit of a bit of a slow read for me. This was still a great book in case your wondering. There is plenty of family life things going on in this book. Holden is going through a lot right now and was just hoping for some time with his boy before the kids goes off to medical school and as the book goes on you can see how much care he has for his son but in come Bernadette to throw him off his guard. Dude had plenty of issues before she came along. Now Bernadette and Holden must work together during this trip and figure out what's in the future because they got a baby coming soon. Overall with how this book turned out I really enjoyed it.
