Cruse is apart of the Jameson Force Security and was asked by the president to watch after his niece who is an energy scientist on the verge of an important breakthrough. Theres been chatter that a terrorist group has their eyes on her and is wants to take the plans to take the plans and her if nessesary. Barrett isn't thrilled about the idea of being constantly tailed by Cruse but after an attempt on her life things become really clear that her life is in danger and she needs to finish what shes working on and stay safe.
Such a great book! I pretty much devoured it, all I know was that it was a mistake to read this right before bed because once I started I didn't go to be early like I originally intended. I loved reading this book and seeing how it played out. You'll have to read this to really see how good it is. I loved getting to know the characters and seeing their point of view with everything that happens throughout the book. I loved seeing the attraction between the two and enjoyed the few steamy scenes that happens in the book. I was in suspense waiting for something to happen to the characters because at first it didn't seem Barrett was taking things seriously at first. Overall really great book I really enjoyed it.
