The Baxter sisters come from a long line of women with disastrous luck in love. But this summer, Sunshine and Margot will turn disasters into destiny…As an etiquette coach, Margot teaches her clients to fit in. But she’s never faced a client like Bianca, an aging movie star who gained fame—and notoriety—through a campaign of shock and awe. Schooling Bianca on the fine art of behaving like a proper diplomat’s wife requires intensive lessons, forcing Margot to move into the monastery turned mansion owned by the actress’s intensely private son. Like his incredible home, Alec’s stony exterior hides secret depths Margot would love to explore. But will he trust her enough to let her in?
Sunshine has always been the good-time sister, abandoning jobs to chase after guys who used her, then threw her away. No more. She refuses to be “that girl” again. This time, she’ll finish college, dedicate herself to her job as a nanny, and she 100 percent will not screw up her life again by falling for the wrong guy. Especially not the tempting single dad who also happens to be her boss.
Master storyteller Susan Mallery weaves threads of family drama, humor, romance and a wish-you-were-there setting into one of the most satisfying books of the year!
Margot is a etiquette coach taking on the challenge to get Bianca a star who is known for acting outrageous to be more proper. So she moves in to Bianca and her son's, Alec, monastery turned mansion. While she tries to help Bianca, Alec and Margot have a attraction they'll try to deny. Then there's her sisters Sunshine who is know for being a flake taking on nanny jobs, finding a guy who ditches her then repeats cycle. It's when she was left in a completely different country with little with her that she decided to make a change. Now shes working for a decent guy with an amazing kid and shes taking on going back to school to get her life straight. She never expected to fall for the father but she refuse to repeat her cycle and will try to resist.
If you love a good contemporary romance, if you are looking for a cute book to read beside the pool this summer you'll want to check out this book. I sometimes have a hard time keeping two different story lines separate but this book was easy to follow. I enjoyed getting to see how different these twin sisters were dealing with their life with the way they grew up and how completely different they are as adults. One flighty, one who is very by the rules and it was interesting seeing their relationship. I also loved seeing the different sides of both girls with their love life. There is plenty to love and enjoy about this book but hard to talk about without giving it away. Overall this was a pretty great book I really enjoyed it.
