An Amish witness to murder

Another riveting Amish Country Justice book

On the way to deliver a baby, Amish midwife Lizzy Miller witnesses her driver’s murder—and now someone plans to silence her. Lizzy knows better than to trust strangers, but she must depend on former Amish turned Englisch police officer Isaac Yoder. And there’s nowhere safe to hide…unless Isaac reconnects with the Amish community he left behind to protect the woman he’s falling for.

Lizzy is an Amish midwife who on the way to deliver a baby witnesses a murder. Isaac Yoder is former Amish and is no a Police Officer. While on duty he finds Lizzy on the run and after a couple more attempts on her life he makes it his mission to protect her. Thing is they seem to be falling for eachother but unless he goes back to Amish community to court her or she leaves her faith and family for him. Its a tough decision to make while on the run.

Not sure how I manged to come across this book normally don't pick up books that have people of the amish community in it just not my thing. But it was a mystery suspense novel and I figured it would be clean romance that might occur so decided to pick up this book. This book was pretty good and it was entertaining seeing the couple of attempts on her life as well as any other that might be connected to the murder. I liked seeing that bit of romance that bloomed between the two MC's. Overall pretty good book.
