Hold on to your hat for Violet’s wildly hot love story! Lizza is up to her old tricks again, and Violet is in for the surprise of a lifetime!

Two years ago Violet Vancroft was a nomadic artist who never wanted to put down roots and Andre Shaw was a prominent Boston physician whose roots ran too deep to unearth. Their love didn’t stand a chance—or at least that’s what Violet believed when she received a plea for help from the sister she’d never really known—so she snuck away like a thief in the night.

Now Andre travels the world, setting up new medical clinics, and Violet has finally found the family she’d always craved and the roots she’d never known she wanted. When their paths cross unexpectedly, it’s not the reunion either one imagined. But they’ve never stopped loving each other, and after the dust of anger and hurt settles, passion ignites even hotter than before. As the end to Andre’s time at the Cape nears, reality sets in, leaving them no closer to a future than they were before. Violet and Andre are forced to dig deep to discover if they’re destined to live apart forever or if true love really can conquer all.

Violet isn't one for putting down roots when someone, Andre,  she got close to manages to propose to her shes not sure how she feels. On top of that her mother makes an urgent call about her sister and she rushes out without a word. Its been months since then and she seems to be making ties in town, making friends, being close to her sister the last thing she expects is for her wild mother to show up with him. Andre has been months trying to get over his broken heart Violet causes and never expected to see her again and that she seems to be changing her ways and seems to have something stable going on. He's got to go back to his business and is going to be sticking around for a short while and it apparent that flame the two had for eachother never went away.

This was such a great read. I loved a great contemporary romance and this was just such a enjoyable book. I previously read about her sisters side to the story and was curious to see what Violet's story was and if you readers are like me and enjoyed the previous book your in for a treat with this one. Even if you haven't read the previous book it does work good as a standalone but even better if you read the series. There was just so much about Violets character that her sister didn't know and I loved getting to know what she was really doing, what she was keeping from those that are close to her. I appreciate getting to know her backstory which was so different from her sister. As for the romance between Violet and Andre, I loved seeing that connection, and the romance between the two and things defiantly get steamy between the two. Violet was so closed off to those she loves and cares about and it was interesting how everything came to light and everyone reactions. Overall great book I really enjoyed it.
