New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant takes you deep inside the Texas rodeo scene, where danger and desire ride side by side. . .Naomi Pierce isn't the type to let a cowboy sweep her off feet. It's not her first rodeo, after all. But when she returns to her Texas hometown, she can't help but be swept up again in the rough-and-tumble world of hard-riding, bronco-busting good-ol'-boys she loved as a girl. She might be here to photograph her Rodeo Queen best friend. But it's one fine-looking cowboy who really captures her eye...Brice Harper is all man, all muscle, and all heart. From the moment he rides into the stadium, he can't help but notice the beautiful stranger with a camera watching him from the stands. It doesn't take a zoom lens to see the sparks of instant attraction. But things really heat up when he meets Naomi up-close--and he discovers that someone is stalking her friend. Brice wouldn't be any kind of cowboy if he didn't offer to help the ladies out. But can the rough rider keep this spirited shutterbug out of danger--without risking his heart?
Naomi returns to her hometown to hang out with her rodeo queen friend and take photographs of and managed to stumble upon a dark secret her friend is hiding. While taking photographs she finds out that her friend has a stalker and that person is willing to do everything to keep his identity a secret. Brice is in the rodeo seems to have fallen hard for Naomi and is willing to help her and her friend out with whatever cost nessesary.
I don't think I read the description of this book I just knew that there was cowboys and that was all I really needed to know. I didn't realized it was going to be a romantic mystery suspense novel because I would've picked this book a whole lot sooner. This book sounded perfect for me and after reading it I can really tell you that I loved it. I loved the characters and getting to know them. I loved how loyal Naomi was as a friend and how supportive her was and how she would do anything she can, and was just in general selfless because she could've dropped this whole situation and take her friend as it was. I thought it was interesting how everything played out as things progressed and secrets were being exposed and how everything in the end was taken down. This was such a great book and I really enjoyed reading it.
