Goodbye rodeo, hello hometown But is this Wyoming Cowboy ready to face his past?

Amy Deerson wanted to mentor a child. Her plan did not include former bull rider Nash Bolton--the little girl's brother and guardian. It's been a decade since Nash left town without a word, breaking Amy's young heart. Now they must put their painful past aside to help fragile, traumatized Ruby. If only getting over their first love were that simple.

When they were young Amy and Nash had something up until he split without a word. Now he's back with a child in tow and Amy seems like the mentor who can many help out this child. But its hard not to fall for eachother after what they have been through and they have to make sure to set things aside for the sake of the child.

I thought that this was a pretty good heart warming story. It was interesting getting to know of their relationship in the past, why things happen the way they did seeing them opening up to each other and how they were able to handle it now. I thought it was interesting getting to know the child and seeing Amy try her best to get the child to be okay around others seeing that child change slowly. I enjoyed how everything played out there was just enough drama to keep things interesting. Overall this was a pretty enjoyable book I really liked it.
